CNN of all places did an analysis and only found 15 of the 74 to match the conditions of the Oregon shooting.

15 is still far more than any other nation in the world during the same time frame.

Sadly, I am finding a common thread in a number of these. They are in bad neighborhoods, gang turf wars and happening on grounds after hours, by felons, that would have a gun whether or not we confiscated guns as they acquired them illegally.
one involved a parent in a gang ridden neighborhood allowing their daughter to play on the playgound at 7 at night alone. She was caught in the crossfire.

With this common thread in a number of them it seems more needs to be done to bring these gangs down, clean up these neighborhoods.

We have not banned backyard pools, but we have required many safety features to cut back on deaths. Secure fencing, warnings, removing diving boards, non-slip surfaces, inspections. But most importantly insurance by the owner

We have banned seatbelts for young children and required certified child car seats. The number of deaths have declined significantly

It is funny to me how liberals have no problem with open borders and just want to give blanket amnesty while they feign outrage over gang violence or murders with guns.

Meanwhile they of course always offer up the crime stats in those countries with those strong gun laws. As I have said before, a person like me will then point out that those countries that they love to use those crime stats from do not have any such thing as an open border policy. In fact most of them have very strict citizenship policies.

Now, is it not true? Stats are indeed like bikinis? Where the numbers in stats are suggestive, and what they conceal is vital. In this case the morons on the left who are the puppets of their socialist puppet masters, leave out the border policies of the socialist countries they love to use, and they do not factor in the mass gang problems in this country.
