A Few Ways Trump's Policies Made the Coronavirus Epidemic Worse

WHINE WHINE WHINE

Only MORE SPENDING, MORE STEALING BY DEMS does anything good... for Dems.... according to Dems.

Meanwhile, in the 1990s, we cut taxes and spending, and things were much better then than they are now....
Well, we had a competent President in the '90s who staffed his administration with reliable competent people.

Yet the Swine flu killed 4,000 Americans and the death toll on this outbreak was 28 by this morning? Reliable and competent? Not so much...
I was responding to the poster who said the 1990s were much better than they are now, and by the way, swine flu was in 2009, not the 1990s.

I know exactly when the Swine flu was. My question remains the same! What measures did Barack Obama take that you feel Trump hasn't? When you look at one outbreak that kills 4,000 and another that's killed 28 as of this morning it's REALLY hard to find fault with the guy who's been in charge for the 28 and say he should have done what the guy who was in charge when the 4,000 died did!
Actually, with Trump it's EASY to find fault -- because there's so much of it. And I already noted what Obama did NOT do what Trump HAS done, a few posts back. Look it up.

And yet 4,000 died on Barry's watch and less than a hundred have died under Trump's? You do realize that your contentions don't stand up to even a cursory examination...right?

Trump shut down the office that was preparing for just such a pandemic in a reorganization in 2018. For Trump, Coronavirus Proves to Be an Enemy He Can’t Tweet Away

As the highly infectious coronavirus jumped from country after country in January and February, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lost valuable weeks that could have been used to track its possible spread in the United States because it insisted upon devising its own test. The federal agency (which Trump is ultimately in charge of) shunned the World Health Organization test guidelines used by other countries and set out to create a more complicated test of its own. But when it was sent to labs across the country in the first week of February, it didn’t work. What I want to know is: When is Trump going to give the coronavirus a disparaging nickname? That should finish it off!

Tell me what Barack Obama did during the Swine flu pandemic that killed 4,000 Americans that was superior to what Donald Trump has done during the Corona flu outbreak that has killed 28 Americans as of this morning? I'd be curious to hear your spin of that, Bruce! :)

Let me entertain your ignorant post.

Obama was able to handle the swine flu pandemic that killed 4,000 very excellent. There are no panic buying of supplies, stocks remained stable, no closing on venues and American was calmed. Obama showed an excellent leadership.

Under Trump of handling this virus is totally inept and hogwash. Feeding buffet of misinformation and conspiracies supported by Fox News. Stock prices are falling, Americans continue to get sick and dying. But he is out there busy pumping nonsense tweets. Blaming Obama and just about everyone. Contradicting CDC advice.

When are you pathetic assholes going to stop blaming Obama for everything? Never, I guess. For anyone who's interested in FACTS, here are a couple:

Though it’s true that Obama didn’t declare a national emergency over the virus until October 2009, his administration declared a public health emergency almost immediately, on April 26, 2009. PolitiFact has rated the conservative claim that Obama didn’t do anything to prevent an H1N1 outbreak “false.” The border wall, Obama, and the Federal Reserve: Trump tweets as coronavirus worsens

Why don't you research how Barry's "crew" handled the vaccines for Swine flu, Bruce? They FUBARED that as bad as they screwed up most things back then!

This sorta proves TDS is far more dangerous than corona.
FACTS are far more dangerous than the coronavirus?

You appear to be frightened of them, Bruce! Let's hear some facts on what Barack Obama did to prevent the spread of Swine flu that Donald Trump hasn't done with the Corona virus! I'm dying to hear from you.

The big difference is the swine flu has a vaccine. You can get a flu shot and most likely you’ll be okay.

The Coronavirus we don’t have a known vaccine . Trump boy is not handling this CV very well. Denial and pumping conspiracies is not helping.

Trump even said with Hannity. Even if you are sick you can still go to work. The following day he denied saying that then blame the democrats and fake news. So tell me what kind of moron mentality is that?

Then he said he preferred the cruise ship passengers should remain inside these cruise so the numbers of sick from CV doesn’t go up. Someone forgot to tell this Trumpy boy that US ports is part of US territory. Ask again how is your dog handling this crisis.

Anyone attempting to use the Coronvirus as a political weapon right now aren't worth a damn, IMO....if ever there is /was a time for the country to come together it is during such an emergency....but all some seem to do is hang around like carcass-eating buzzards, hoping for death, destruction, collapse, misery, and failure with which to divisively use against a political ally

Again, IMHO....

True we should be all together fighting this epidemic.

IMHO. And what we are seeing. The only person that making these Coronavirus and making it worse as it is and heavily implicating politically is Trump.

Pumping false conspiracies and misinformation busy blaming people and not taking it seriously. With the help of Fox News. Dividing Americans against you and me. The sad part of that are most of his supporters believed him no matter how disgusting and awful what he is blabbering.

Trump is not helping. He should just STFU for his own good.

Deaths so far from the good old-fashioned, run-of-the-mill, seasonal flu, this season: 8,000.
Deaths so far from the dreaded absolutely horrible COVID-19: 27.
I'd say, with regard to the COVID-19, he's doing just fine.
Perhaps you can figure a way to blame him for the next earthquake when one occurs.

Big difference Dude. There is a vaccine for seasonal flu.

There are no known vaccine for Coronavirus and we are about a year away is the closest testing according to Fauci.

Comparing seasonal flu vs Coronavirus is totally hogwash.

Trump tweets. Comparing Flu deaths vs CV deaths. That is so hilarious.
Some one forget to tell this Dude that there is a vaccine for flu.
And CV we don’t have any vaccines at this time and CV doesn’t give any immunity.

There are about 7 US pharmaceutical companies gunning for the vaccines.

Trump on coronavirus: The flu is worse

So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu,” Trump tweeted. “It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!”

Yet, with the seasonal flu and the available vaccine, 8,000 still died and with the COVID-19 and no vaccine, only 27 have died. Even Democrats are admitting he is doing a good job. Your opinion has no validity.

But the most revealing stats will come in November when we see that far fewer Americans died compared to Europe, whose EU refused to seal their borders in response and no COVID19 is way out of control there.

Trump actually said he did not want to bring the cruise ship passengers here because the 21 positive cases would raise the number of coronavirus cases in the US!

Like a DA who doesn't want to try a difficult murder case because it would ruin his conviction rate.

"Just let them die!"
What, you expected Trump to CARE about another human being?

How much do YOU care about human beings?

Oh, you want to know about how much I care about human beings? I'll tell you. My wife already had two (pretty much) grown children from her first marriage, and then her daughter got pregnant by some guy who ended up in jail. My wife's daughter was very volatile and I thought she would be a terrible mother, so I thought she should get an abortion. But I didn't get a vote, and she decided to have the baby, and his name is Adrian. He's 11 now, and he is a terrific kid. He also has a sister, Ember, who is a sweetheart. I would jump in front of a train for either of them. That's how much I love them.

Gee, I hate to contradict you but, the world death toll is currently 4,300 and it's almost certain to increase.

Ok, so now. . . .

1. Are you a defender of basic human rights?

2. Are you a defender of basic human rights even for the most basic (under developed) children of all?
