A thought about "flippers" and "Independents"

So the Obama Pelosi Reid stimulus passed in 2009 added $787 billion of new spending to the federal budget in 2009. It then went on to add $834 billion of new spending in 2010 ($787 billion times 1.06 for the 6% yearly increase); $884 billion in 2011; and finally $937 billion in 2012. Over the last four years, this totals $3,442 billion more than would have been budgeted through the normal process – which is precisely why the democrats wanted it passed as a stimulus.

As Harry Reid’s democrat majority in the Senate has consistently refused to pass a budget for nearly three years, the continuing resolutions have simply continued the yearly automatic 6% increase in spending leading to the enormous budget deficits of the Obama years.

LOL! No, it didn't

And BTW, when did tax cuts become spending in your head?

to the base line for years to come
it added 140 for 09
read the links dude
and explain to me who owns the 50% of tarp GWB was not going to use (I think BHO stopped short of using it all)
that is all on the 09 budget and GWB only used 50% of it, most of that we got back

Holy shit. One ounce of consistency would help your case. 810B in 2010?

787B in 2009?!

I don't need your links from rightwing blogs. I have reality on my side.

Paulson asked for 700B for a reason - so they could use it. But in the end, Obama didn't use all of it. And much of it was paid back. In fact, it still stands a chance of turning a profit

simple as I can make it\GWB asked for 3.1
we spent 3.6
GWB signed tarp, that was it
Obama signed the "Omnibus" bill and got 50% of tarp that W was not going to use

how simple can I make this?

BTW and for the record
Tarp was the best thing we could have done during the wealth bubble
401ks would have been destroyed
The 30-40% BHO used was in addition to the intent, but also GWB was the first to "loan" Gm and Chrysler monies, also not part of the intent

okayyyy, I'll bite...

when GWB asked for the 3.1 trillion in his budget request turned in to Congress in March of 08 include the Fannie and Freddie bailout money that he gave them, did it include the goldman sachs bailout money he asked for? Did it include the automobile bail out monies that he asked for and got, and did it include the TARP bailout etc etc etc etc?

That W was not going to use? That's pure BS...couldn't be any purer BS....than the BS it is.

I noted he spent the 350 billion
I noted we got most of that back
His GM bailout was about 20 billion
Chrysler as I recall was 7 billion

bleed in 08, but have recovered
I resumed 2010 (401) and have done well late 2011 early 2012
mine followed the DJIA on the way down except it did not fall as bad
On the way up I have done much better

Tarp saved the banks as well as wall street
without it there is no doubt in my mind we would be in a much different world

Up... From what? I don't understand your baseline of it's "up"... Up from what?

[qutoe]I am in construction Management building large industrial projects
I've been in manament... Sucks. Well... It did for me. Good on you if it complements you though.

My 401k was like every-ones except I stopped putting money in mine and Invested monies my self (aapl)
I guess my question is you've made back everything you lost and back on track like the crash never happened? I'm sorry I just find that hard to believe.

I agree... It would be. And frankly I believe things have to be bad to get back to the good. I'd rather have the flue for a week than a cold for a decade.

*shrugs* I don't have a problem with that.

Alger Capital Appreciation Instl

Alger is doing real good
stock called INCY did good for my personal and in T. Rowe fund

Frank, look out! Bucs90 is right behind you!! BOO!!!!

You extremists of the far right are silly, that is the only word for it.

As a group, you are not dangerous whatsoever.

As for your future, it is non-existent by 2020. You are growing smaller in numbers.
