Nine months on a cruise ship. $60,000 spent, just to get on the boat, and that's the bare minimum. I can't even imagine....

It is not one long cruise, it is many cruises, back to back. The one good thing, however, is that you probably don't have to exit the ship as each cruise ends, like normal people do on a back-to-back.

Consider this as an alternative to a nursing home, where $10k per month is not unusual. Further, what if you are a geezer with a couple mil in investments and no heirs? Not a bad deal. Being pampered for nine months straight? Not for me, but I can see it for some old folks (my age, 75).
