Absence of George W. Bush @ Obama Inauguration Sadly Noted

GWB is persona non grata, with both political parties – and for good reason. Let’s assume he at least has common sense enough to know that, and acts accordingly.
No he isn't. He championed excellence in education for poor children; literacy; he cleaned up the remainder of the brownfields that helped all ducks replenish in numbers, receiving a citation of merit from Ducks Unlimited; he created communication between governmental agencies and prevented further terrorist attacks by way of Homeland Security; he doubled down on bringing jobs to the nation in areas where they needed employment remedies; and he was a servant of the American people after the press and Hollyweird portrayed him as a monkey and a fool, of which he was neither. He welcomed multiple to his staff; Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, and George Paige, and Alberto Gonzalez, just to name a few; and he created a business-friendly environment who in turn, created more jobs and fueled more funds into the treasury as prosperity grew.

Right now, he's sticking close to home because his family's most senior member is gravely ill and almost died last week.

Carter's an asshead, too. Al gore went to Bush's. Daddy Bush went to Clinton's. McCain went to Obama's. we are supposed to celebrate the PROCESS

Well, please forgive him for forgoing the hissing, booing, egg throwing low class behavior he had to endure at the first one. I certainly do.

Willow. Do you think maybe a Valium or two would help you?

No one was going to act out at an inaugural. It's not like the teatards and birfer loons went

Hey Jillian,, watch this and then apologize.

Well, I guess hell will freeze over before Jillian admits she's wrong and apologizes.

The problem is not that 'W' was absent today, it is that he was not absent in 2000, when he was elected by absent minded.

the inauguration was for the left only .i wouldn't be surprised if the Bush family were not invited.
The last thing they'd have needed (there), was Daddy Bush's drunken, frat-boy, idiot-son....pukin' all-over-the-place.

Yea, cocaine is much better

Is that why the CIA supplied it to our troops in Vietnam?

.....and it all came crashing down like a house of cards right before he left office and threw the economy into turmoil.

This kind of overshadows everything he'd done prior to that, although two wars are certain stand-outs.

I can't say GWB's entire presidency was stagnant but Obama is certainly getting a lot more stuff done.

Why don't some of you just admit what Bush not attending is really about and it's not about Bush not showing class or respect by not attending you simply want to bitch about the man you just can't help yourself and you have no idea how to stop. You did for the eight year's he was in office and continued the four year's he has been out of office that is twelve year's you have bitched basically non stop about him that is beyond pathetic.

Well that is a matter of opinion but the fact remains he was not the man in charge for the last four years and he won't be for the next four either. So the million dollar question is who will the left blame for whatever problems that Obama has to face in the coming four year's?

If I were him, after the first Obama inauguration I would not have showed up either. I thought those freaks was gonna riot. Says a lot about some of the people that were there

That's right, Bush, Jr. was a cocaine user as well as a drunk.

That's what you commies say - no evidence of course.

Oh, but you're little tin god bragged about using cocaine. That different though, right?
Book: Bush was arrested for cocaine in 1972 - Salon.com

A new book by Texas author J.H. Hatfield claims that George W. Bush was arrested for cocaine possession in 1972, but had his record expunged with help from his family’s political connections. In an afterword to his book “Fortunate Son: George W. Bush and the Making of an American President” (St. Martin’s), Hatfield says he took a second look at the Bush cocaine allegations after a story in Salon reporting allegations that Bush did community service for the crime at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Houston’s Third Ward.
