what's the difference (other than psychologically) if Europe buys it's oil and gas from Russia in Euros or Rubles? If they buy them in Euros they send the Euros to the Russians and the Russians send them oil and gas. If they buy them in Rubles they send Euros to the Russians who send them Rubles, the Europeans then send those Rubles right back to Russia for the oil and gas. The Russians end up with the same amount of Euros, and the Europeans end up buying the same amount of Russian oil and gas. How many milli seconds does it delay the purchase of said Russian oil and gas as the Euros and Rubles go from the Russian banks to European banks and back? Im sure how ever many it is will be enough time for the sanctions to work.

Biden lied to the American people a couple of days ago. A blatant vicious lie. He said that solar can save the average homeowner $500 a month in electricity bills.

That is a lie. If you live in a narrow sun band in the SW you may be able to get a little less than a 10 year payback on a solar installation. That is with government subsidies. Most of the rest of the country it is a 20 year payback, even here in the "Sunshine State" of Florida. Some places in the US it could be as high as a 30 year payback.

It is not even the $500/year that was corrected by Biden's handlers. After 20 years you may start to realize a net but by then the system including storage batteries will probably have to be replaced.


Either he is a psychopathic liar, or, he needs to be replaced.

President Joe Biden vastly overpromised Americans that they can expect savings of $500 a month by transitioning to renewable energy, which the White House corrected by saying the savings would actually come over a year.

In a fumble during his speech on gas prices on Thursday, Biden touted rebate programs for consumers switching to green energy but incorrectly cast how much would be saved.

'If your home is powered by safer, cheaper, cleaner electricity like solar or heat pumps, you can save about $500 a month on average,' Biden said.

The White House corrected Biden's remark in a transcript, making clear he meant to say the savings he predicted would be over a year, not a month.

'His plan will help ensure that America creates millions of good-paying union jobs in clean, cutting-edge industries for generations to come,' the statement said

'And it will save American families money in the immediate future – including more than $950 a year in gas savings from taking advantage of electric vehicles, and an additional $500 a year from using clean electricity like solar and heat pumps to power their homes.'
