I get it, companies don't want to take risks. Certain countries have been hit hard, China of course, Italy, Iran. 99% of destinations shouldn't be a problem. Even if you contracted the virus, you're chances of survival are high.

Regardless, you only have one life, so I'm not going to criticize those who are overly cautious. It's just not the way I choose to live. At least not yet, hah.

I'm at ORD right now waiting to board my plane to Brazil. You wouldn't believe how many people are walking around with face masks. It's hard to not smirk at them.

Well, it's not just airlines and cruise ships that are taking hits. There are several school districts that have decided to close as well.

And, to tell you the truth, flying or going on a cruise is a bad idea right now. Why? Because in an airplane, you are breathing recirculated air, and I don't think that airplane ventilation has filters good enough to catch the virus.

Same with being on a cruise ship. All the vent systems are interconnected, and they don't have filters capable of removing viruses either.
