An early "casualty" of Brexit.....

The UK, even without the EU is more liberal than you.

Think about it.......Last week a Brit who breaks a leg in Spain, could be treated at a local hospital for free....Now, he/she better shell out some pounds (pardon the expression)......

What is there to think about? The UK will just have to cover these people and the EU will have to cover travelers to the UK.

Sounds socialist.

I won't deny your belief that all the rules are gone but, I assure you, if they were Britain would have armed guards at the borders just now.

In any case, your premise fails to consider whether Spain might still be an EU member by this time next week.

Wrong, The UK pays $13 billion pounds a year to the EU:

EU Facts: how much does Britain pay to the EU budget?

How much does Britain pay to the EU?
In 2015, the UK’s full membership fee would have been £17.8 billion. However, Britain doesn’t pay that full fee.

Because of a deal negotiated by Margaret Thatcher in 1984, Britain gets a “rebate”, an annual reduction in contributions.

Last year, that rebate reduced our contribution to £12.9 billion. That’s around £200 for every person in the UK.

......and, according to this moron.....Britain (don't call it UK any longer....that may have ended last week) does NOT receive ANY benefits from that contribution.......What an asshole.

No it doesn't. EU spending in the UK is a small fraction of the money it receives from the UK. EU regulations are crushing UK industries like fishing. The UK isn't allowed to fish its own waters, which are some of the richest fishing waters in the world.

Yep and your solution appears to be to make it more so.

Use a bit more brain cells and ponder this.......If you were a Spaniard would you jump into the secession frenzy "next week"......OR....would you wait to see how Britain fares in the next 5 or more years?

Right now there is much hand wringing within England and Wales......They will have to repatriate tens of thousands of British citizens who are losing their jobs working in other EU countries. They will have to renegotiate ALL trade contracts with both the EU AND the US...So, do you still think that Spain or Portugal or Italy is really anxious to follow Britain's "example"???

THe UK health care system is socialist.

Sure it is........and when was the last time you read about a Brit having to get cancer treatment in a hospital's emergency room as poor people in this country are prompted to do by right wingers???

How would it make it more socialist? That's exactly the arrangement the UK adopted for citizens traveling to non EU countries.

Really? If someone from the UK comes here then we have to pay for their healthcare? Learn something new everyday.

LONDON — On Thursday, 56 percent of all voters in the southwestern county of Cornwall voted in favor of leaving the European Union. It was a decision supported by a majority of the county's members of Parliament.

But only one day later, Cornwall residents were asking, "What have we done?"

The county is heavily dependent on the more than 60 million British pounds ($82 million) in E.U. subsidies per year that are transferred to the region and that have helped finance infrastructure projects and education schemes. Now, county officials are panicking — fearing the worst for the county's future and wondering why one of the most E.U.-dependent counties in Britain voted against the E.U.

After residents voted for Brexit, this British county realized the E.U. might stop sending them money
Great Britain sends far more money to the EU than it gets returned, 12.5% of EU budget. The same people who who signed the do-over petition are the same one's bitching because they lost.

Several resignations and a sacking rock UK opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn's team as Labour faces a crisis after the vote to leave the EU.
This is not the first crisis the Brits have faced and I'm not too happy about the Market, either. It's already cost me. But the Brits will rebound and so will the Market. What we are seeing are skid-marks from shifting the load. The EU has been a bad idea for all concerned -- with the exception of the string-pullers and button-pushers who conceived it, organized it, and have profited massively from it.

What we are seeing is a rebellion of sorts. All rebellions draw blood and cause pain. But focus on the bright side, which is recovering sovereignty and closing borders to the kind of unwanted incursion being suffered by the Brits, the Germans, the French and others. While most of us have been wondering why our European mother nations have been putting up with the Muslim invasion, the answer is the goddam EU's open border policies.

To hell with that!

Reminds me of all the rednecks here that favor secession, and wave their little confederate banners around.
There is no valid comparison of the two situations. The EU did not come about as the result of long and costly war. It came about as the result of a massively complicated deception by what amounts to a shadow government. We are seeing a kind of revolution, and no revolution is painless.

Hmmm, no, moron, the UK pays for their healthcare.

But the same Brit who obtains free medical care in Spain must put up with some bearded Muslim refugee at home telling his wife and daughter how to dress -- or putting his hand up her skirt. How much is that worth?

I'm hoping the spirit of Brexit spreads throughout Europe, spreads to Scandinavia and serves as an inspiration to the U.S. regarding the dark side of NAFTA.

Most of the foreigners coming into England are from the Commonwealth....better known as the former British colonies such as India and Pakistan......

No, I'm pretty sure that would be illegal.

Of course it's illegal. But does that stop their outrageous behavior from manifesting day after day? And the countries who are affected by it owe it to their membership in the EU.

Is it worth it?

According to you this makes up the majority of their day. I suppose when you focus on hate then that is all you're going to see.
