I see a lot of cheap shots at the church, which has become as tiresome as it is predictable. This is the favorite tactic of the left. When you can't possibly defend something, you divert attention to a completely different subject. You sound so childish.

People voluntarily donate to church. Commies force people to abide by the will of tyrants. Clearly, liberals see no difference between the two and that is apparently the only argument you guys can come up with in response to a fucking dictator living like a king while the people starve and live in complete chaos. I take it you have no response to the horrors of a communist country. Don't be afraid to look at them for what they are. Perhaps some of you should look up the definition of free will. Some ceded it so long ago, they forgot what it feels like to make their own decisions. Anyone who isn't outraged at people suffering under the rule of arrogant dictators clearly isn't at the helm of their own life.

The OP missed the obvious, people at the top live well, including those who run things that are supposedly totally unconcerned about earthly wealth. Do you know what Jesus said about storing up treasures right? And the Vatican has some of the very best ever created. One cheap shot deserves another.

If you look carefully you'll see that I said the guys at the top always live well, then I bashed your church. It's an easy target because it's not supposed to have any wealth. Jesus said where your head is that is where your heart is and it takes a good bit to keep an eye on all those treasures, crowns, and gold rings you bend to kiss.

that's where you are wrong.....the Pope does not own the wealth in the Vatican....he lives in a two room apartment next to St. Peters.....the Vatican art is available to the public of the world to view....and lots go to Rome to view it and donate which helps provide money for the poor around the world...

I like this Pope, he's almost a Christian, but you have a far too generous view of the Vatican treasures, most of which only they can see.

because Ukraine has been very slow in leaving behind its Soviet style bureacracy and authoritarianism and they have had a stranglehold on the government and economy....just why do you think there has been protest...?
