AP: Cohen Fearful of Being 'Fall Guy'

IF the State of New York has evidence of a crime which occurred in NY State, they can subpoena the President to testify under oath before a NY State Grand Jury
It began as a federal investigation...if it gets referred to a state authority it goes on hold until Trump leaves office.....

You wish. No man is above the law.

The link looks strange but anyway how in the world does the A.P. determine what Trump's lawyer is fearful of? It's the same old fake news technique that opens with an unverified unidentified theory and then builds on it as if it was the truth. Lefties love it so it floats along in their fantasy world.
In fact, wh's description is dead on for what the far right and alt right apologists do.

Cohen will abandon Trump in turn for a good deal.

He is similar to the bookkeeper of Al Capone. The accounts guy had all the figures of criminal profit, and it sunk Capone.

Cohen, as Trump's attorney, knows if not everything, probably all the crimes that Trump has committed.

The beginning of the end of Trump's presidency has begun.

The time's coming when it's going to be a Smart Move... distancing themselves from months of acquiescence.
While the power to impeach is in the hands of the House, Mueller et al will need to make a good case to the public before ANYONE (Dems included) makes a serious run at impeachment. They have the power but we are the fact finders. If they don't sell it, I don't care how bad they want to remove Trump, it would be political suicide to do so.
Well, whaddya know... a sliver of common ground.

Mueller et al will, indeed, need to make a good case... a damned good case... before Congress (even the Dems) will be willing to act.

And, beyond that...

Impeachment is a very serious and controversial and divisive process; a final line of defense against tyranny and corruption.

And, of course, in order to result in Removal From Office, impeachment must be followed by Conviction in the Senate.

This, too, is nowhere near as far-fetched as it seemed even a month or two ago.

Increasing numbers of Republicans are now bailing on Trump and trying to distance themselves while there's still time.

They know what's coming, and they want to salvage as much as can be salvaged from The Grand Old Mistake of 2016.

Do you think that what has been coming will be here in time for the 2nd coming?

still waiting on that crime. any decade.

Not to worry... the findings of the Mueller Investigation will become known at the appropriate time...
So no crime you know of
That is the entire point of an investigation...

To determine IF crimes have been committed...

When the investigation is completed, we will have that answer...
no, that isn't what an investigation is. This is a head hunting expedition to find anything. I say, Thanks Tucker Carlson, that everyone in DC should be investigated eh? everyone has something in their past that can be dug up and charged as criminal. How about that? every Congressperson, every fking one of em. Let's see those throwing the stones how clean they really are. Let's go. You agree? Let's go raid their homes and offices and sieze all of their computers. And here's a congressman who doesn't care about the rule of law. Says it, he doesn't care. Folks the left are now admitting live on TV that don't care about your civil rights.
