The court is simply ruling that individual governors can not pick and choose which immigrants that have federal legal status they can waive or deny privileges to. The federal government determines the legal status of immigrants, not individual states.

No person who entered this country illegal has "federal legal status". King Obama does not have the power to confer that to anyone.

Yes they do. They are illegal only until they get in front of a judge who documents them and orders a court hearing. During the time they are waiting for the hearing and any appeals that may apply they are documented and legal. That does not mean they have a work permit or "Green card", but it means they are here legally under a federal court order. They are given "authority" to reside in the USA and all states are obligated to recognize the federal courts order.

If they enter this country and are not in full compliance with our immigration laws, then they are here illegally.
