arbery trial and race

The guy in the back of the truck never attacked anyone. He never got out of the back of the truck. Damn dude, you didn't even watch the video, did you?
LOL

You're the one who moronically claimed he was chased by Arbery. :cuckoo:

If you don't own the property (which starts at the street) you don't need sign to tell you that you don't own it, and therefore have no right to be on the property.
Matters not in this case. To be criminal trespassing in Georgia, you have to be told, either verbally by an authority of the property or with a 'no trespassing' sign; or you have to remain on a property after being told to leave by an authority of the property; or you have to damage something; or you have to enter the property for an unlawful purpose...

§ 16-7-21 - Criminal trespass

(a) A person commits the offense of criminal trespass when he or she intentionally damages any property of another without consent of that other person and the damage thereto is $500.00 or less or knowingly and maliciously interferes with the possession or use of the property of another person without consent of that person.

(b) A person commits the offense of criminal trespass when he or she knowingly and without authority:

(1) Enters upon the land or premises of another person or into any part of any vehicle, railroad car, aircraft, or watercraft of another person for an unlawful purpose;

(2) Enters upon the land or premises of another person or into any part of any vehicle, railroad car, aircraft, or watercraft of another person after receiving, prior to such entry, notice from the owner, rightful occupant, or, upon proper identification, an authorized representative of the owner or rightful occupant that such entry is forbidden; or

(3) Remains upon the land or premises of another person or within the vehicle, railroad car, aircraft, or watercraft of another person after receiving notice from the owner, rightful occupant, or, upon proper identification, an authorized representative of the owner or rightful occupant to depart.

... none of which applied to Arbery.

The property owner wasn't even there to tell Arbery to stay off the property and out of the house. The cops hadn't gotten there yet.
So your point is mute.
LOL

Actually, you just admitted Arbery wasn't committing criminal trespassing.

Following one is not stupid. Trying to get him to stop isn't stupid. We're talking about simple trepassing, possibly burglary.
They weren't following him, they were chasing him. The Homeowner stated that Ahmaud NEVER stole or damaged anything. He did show a video of a white couple stealing from his property.
First contact was made from the safety of his vehicle, when he was first told to stop. That's pretty secure, considering that all he had to do was mash the gas is Arbery tried anything.
What authority did he have to tell Ahmaud to stop?
It's not like the McMichael jumped out the first time they seen him, jumped out and drew down on him. There was several attempts to get him to stop and just have a discussion.
He didn't have to stop.
That's it. And even though Arbery is black, it doesn't excuse him for not being more respectful and explaining why he was trespassing.
Was Larry English in the truck with the McMichaels? He didn't need to explain anything to them, they were not the home owners.
Apparently he though that was "below him" and his self righteous blackness. Or he was scared he was going to have yet another run in with the law, to ad to the other charges already on his record.
Like bringing a gun to a high school basketball game.
No he thought like I do, he is a US citizen and they had no authority to stop him and ask him a damn thing. You think because a white man tells a black man to stop he has to actually do it. No he doesn't.

Chasing him... That's a bias news word. If they were chasing him, they would've friggin caught him. They was in a pick up. He was on foot. There were two of them. If they wanted to chase him, which means to "pursue to catch" him, they would've done so.
Think man.
You never chased someone down to just to talk to them. Two weeks ago, I had to chase my brother down to get my phone out of his truck. "Chase" is a scary word used my the media (in this situation) to get your emotions up. Don't let'm do that to you. You got a mind. Use the damn thing.
What authority did he have to tell Ahmaud to stop?

Because Arbery just committed a crime. And citizens have the right to detain people, until the cops get there. And they were on their way.
It's a right given to "decent" people to stop others who they suspect of breaking the law. Arbery was breaking the law.
Fucking hell dude, Laws are created to help protect decent folks. The McMichael's may not have been real decent. But they was decent enough to try and get Arbery to stop, several times, without running him over, a drive by or some of that other redneck shit that went on 50 years ago.
When those stupid rednecks down in Jasper drug that colored boy with their pick ups, the entire white community came out against those thugs. Hardly anyone took up for them. Maybe his kin. And the defense attorney. But even he didn't try real hard. They were white trash rednecks. The McMichael's didn't do any of that. But you're painting them with the same brush as those Jasper thugs.
He didn't have to stop.

Correct. Instead of making that sharp left, in front of Gregs truck, he could've kept right on going. In fact, he didn't even have to run.
Was Larry English in the truck with the McMichaels?

No, Larry wasn't there. He's the one that got notified that someone was in his house. The intruder was Arbery.
He didn't need to explain anything to them, they were not the home owners.

He did need to explain himself. That's what decent folks do. He ain't so entitled that he gets to walk onto someone's property, walk into their house, uninvited, and then not answer for it.
Why TF you taking up for people who disrespect folks privacy like that? Cause he's black? He's "entitled."

No he thought like I do, he is a US citizen and they had no authority to stop him and ask him a damn thing. You think because a white man tells a black man to stop he has to actually do it. No he doesn't.

He think's like you do. That you can just do what ever you want, because you got black privilege, and no one can even question you. White folks can't even do that, and we make up over 60% of the country.

HOLY HELL. What TF is wrong with you people. There's a completely different legal term and law for "trespassing" and "Criminal Trespassing."

But the most important thing, in this lynching of the the two McMichael's, is the fact that your defending someone who knowingly went onto someone elses property and into their home without permission.
Why would anyone even need a sign to tell them not to go onto someone else's property? HOLY HELL, this country is getting stupid. This is basic respect. Crap you should've been taught before you were 10yrs old. And when you do something wrong, hold yourself accountable for it, so you learn from your mistakes.

I guess kids aren't taught that by their parents. Apparently Arbery, like a LOT of black kids, didn't have much of a father (or mother) to guide him in the right direction. What's your reason?

Because Arbery just committed a crime.

That was never proven in court.

And citizens have the right to detain people, until the cops get there. And they were on their way.
Yeah, if a "felony" is committed in their presence or within their immediate knowledge. There was no felony committed so they had no right to try to detain him.

No I didn't. You're just putting a leftist spin on it. Like the "He traveled across state lines" BS.
Of course you did. You said, "the property owner wasn't even there to tell Arbery to stay off the property and out of the house. The cops hadn't gotten there yet."

So no one authorized of that property told him not to enter or told him to leave. That right there are 2 of the 4 potential elements of criminal trespassing.

Without their permission? You already said no one told him not to go on that property.

Arbery was the victim, not the perpetrator. Since they did not witness a crime, they had no right to try to detain him. They had no right to point a weapon at him. When they instigated the aggression, they cannot claim self defense.

Not after he made that sharp left and headed towards Greg. Everything changed at that point. Had he kept running straight, you would've been right. (kind of sort of)

Without their permission? You already said no one told him not to go on that property.

Yeah, when you go on private property, you need permission from the property owner. Did you not learn that growing up?
Those THUGS rioting in Kenosha didn't learn that growing up either.

No, you don't. I showed you the law. You have to be told, either verbally or non-verbally, not to come on the property...

Who said anything about "criminal trespassing?"

They did catch him genius, WTF are you talking about.

Did you grab your shotgun or .357 Mag to do it?
Because Arbery just committed a crime. And citizens have the right to detain people, until the cops get there. And they were on their way.
Really, what crime had he just committed?
It's a right given to "decent" people to stop others who they suspect of breaking the law. Arbery was breaking the law.
Really tell us what law he was breaking?

Colored Boy, that pretty much tells me every damn thing I need to know about you. He was a 49yr old Black Man, not a damn colored boy.
Correct. Instead of making that sharp left, in front of Gregs truck, he could've kept right on going. In fact, he didn't even have to run.
Why didn't Travis just drive off, since you just said a truck is faster than a man.
Why did Travis jump out of his vehicle with a loaded gun and go around the truck?
No, Larry wasn't there. He's the one that got notified that someone was in his house. The intruder was Arbery.
Did he tell the McMichaels if someone came in his house to chase the tresspasser down? Why didn't the chase down the white couple that was actually stealing shit out of his house?

That's why we have police, he damn sure didn't have to explain himself to the McMichaels or Roddie Bryan.
He think's like you do. That you can just do what ever you want, because you got black privilege, and no one can even question you. White folks can't even do that, and we make up over 60% of the country.
Yep and racist white men like you think like the McMichaels that you are the LAW over every black man in this country. This is 2021 not 1921. That is why the McMichaels may very well spend the rest of their lives in prison.

Yup. Poke a conservative, find a racist.
