A year ago, no gene had ever been tied to performance on an IQ test. Since then, more than 500 have, thanks to gene studies involving more than 200,000 test takers. Results from an experiment correlating one million people’s DNA with their academic success are due at any time.
The discoveries mean we can now read the DNA of a young child and get a notion of how intelligent he or she will be, says Plomin, an American based at King’s College London, where he leads a long-term study of 13,000 pairs of British twins.

As more is learned about human genetics it will become increasingly obvious that Charles Murray, Jared Taylor, and Professor's Arthur Jensen, Richard Herrnstein, and J. Intelligence is the single greatest factor in determining academic and economic success. It is primarily determined genetically. People of some races are more likely to be intelligent than people of other races.
Since the 1960's we have wasted an enormous amount of money trying and failing to close the race gap. It is long since time to stop trying.
The only social experiment that has worked has been the increase in the prison population. More punishment = less crime. Less punishment = more crime.
The high cost of incarceration can be reduced by the thorough exploitation of prison labor, the frequent use of capital and corporal punishment, and the end of recreational and educational opportunities.

IQ tests have established a solid record for over a century of accurately predicting academic and economic success.
