If you listen to the video, the audio clearly shows that the guy with the AK yelled "everyone back up." Then there were the sounds of 5 shots from the AK, followed by 3 from the pistol. Apparently, the AK-shooter had a malfunction after five rounds, and the armed person in the car then shot him.
