Attorney General Eric Holder is disputing a case which argues against Germany's ban on homeschooling. Attorney General Holder believes such a ban fails to violate the family's fundamental rights. Could this mean that home schooling in the United States is threatened and is coming under governmental attack? Might children be removed from parents here who are against enrolling their children in the public school system? The ban in Germany was instituted by Hitler! And now Germany is applying the ban to make sure children receive proper educational indoctrination. And our Attorney General sees nothing wrong with this. Is Mr. Holder a communist or a facist? What does our Presedient think?

Communist Goal #17:
Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
Can't do that when there's Home Schooling.

Or maybe Holder is against giving asylum to people needlessly breaking a well known law in their home country.

And do you have may proof of your claim that German public schooling is nazi era indoctrination?

Did the German people institute the policy, or did it Nazi party institute the policy? What possible does home schooling have ------ other than prevent the government from indoctrinating the student involved. Maybe Holder believes in giving asylum only for uneducated cheap laborers --- the Democrat reveiled?

there is also the problem of parents teaching the child in a manner that constitutes abuse.

if you teach your child that the things taught in schools are evil and wrong you have limited thier life in a really sad way.

they will have to heave your ideas or live a miserable life.

Public schools are trying to teach liberlism in school, and all liberals are misreable. So you could say that schools are abusing our children.

If my teaching my child that socialism is wrong and God is good and the Gov't. is too big, that is a good thing. Of course libtard socialist pukes would rather my child be taught in gov't. schools so they can control them.

There's a bit more to being awarded asylum in this country than claiming that the country you live in doesn't have exactly the same constitutional rights that the US has.

I am for the freedom that allows parents to decide what is right and best for their children. When you have teachers using schools as platforms to get students to pressure parents to vote yes on school levies, or to push their agenda to support the school union or to push a social agenda, or to espouse a political agenda, I have issues with the school and it's system.

Even had one teacher tell my kid that the death penalty was murder, I thought we have teachers that aren't educated teaching or children. Sad excuse for a school system.

Not sure how home schooling would be worse.

Still trying to see where in the constitution that the fed is granted to power over the education of our youth?? Someone care to show that specific power??

Can anyone find the opinion rendered by the Immigration Court in Memphis? I can't find anything other than a friend of the plaintiff's filing by a homeschooling support organization. That only tells one side of the story. What I'd like to see is the government's position on this issue so we can determine what really is going on and why. To just suppose we know, based upon a news article from an advocacy group, doesn't tell the whole story.

Of course, if you'd rather just get your shorts in a knot and dream up fantasies about the "evil" Eric Holder, I guess the facts won't matter to you. But, they DO matter to some of us.

I support that freedom too. But, I don't live in Germany, and they have a differnt culture with different laws.

And if the parents were really worried about what their kids we being taught they could have sent them to a private Christian school, which are allowed in Germany.

Germany has lots of Turkish immigrants who live in areas where only Turkish is spoken and the people don't know German but they're getting all the social benefits of living in Germany, maybe that has a lot to do with why Germany is doing this? Jackass. I live here right now so I know, nothing worse than retards who know nothing about Germany but like shooting their mouths off.

I can remember a teacher in grade school telling us the earth was rotating at "thousands and thousands of miles an hour". It never took in my head becausre I knew better. Children are not books that get etched in stone on first writing- they're people that understand all sources are fallible and they figure things out just like we do. Or like some of us do.

Indeed. That's how you create Westboro.

I believe in some exceptions to this like for example in Philly, I know lots of parents who are home schooling their kids because of bullying and violence in the schools and teh school's lack of effort to stop it.
