No. We will eventually get back to 100 voting Senators. The question is whether it will be a 50 - 50 tie or if one Party will get 51 and the other only 49. If the Dims get a tie, the VP remains a tie breaker. If the Dims get to 51, they won’t need the beeps tie breaking power in most cases.

If the GOP gets the majority, the Veep has a fairly useless power o break ties.
