Shoot.......as recently as in the last century, people were given a whole bunch of crap for being left handed.
I have a cousin, about my age, who still has scars on her knuckles from ruler edges for using her left hand in school...catholic school.
My teacher taped my right hand to my desk. She stopped when my step mom met her in the parking lot after school and "convinced" her that being left handed was just fine. It's cruel, but still its a stupid comparison.

And.......fwiw............I've known a few gay people over the years, and guess what? They're not barbarians. Matter of fact, most are very much more cultured (i.e. civilized) than their straight counterparts.

Nope--you're not going there. Because we have a video that was obviously taken from one of the gay pride group--we DID NOT see Marcus Bachmann or Michelle Bachmann trying to pray away the gay. In fact they have denied treating patients in this manner.
And this news cast specifically talks about medicade--a program that LIBERALS love--yet chastises this business because they actually accepted medicade patients--who were seeking mental counseling. Un Freakin believable.
AND FOR 3 MONTHS all they have talked about is FARM SUBSIDIES--that Michelle Bachmann's inlaws received--but I want to hear about the FARM SUBSIDIES that BARACK OBAMA'S GRANDPARENTS RECEIVED. Yet not even a single "whisper" about those.

First, I agree with you, sexual orientation is hard wired into people and probably cannot be changed, and it's foolish to try.

End of the day, none of this would matter. Frankly, I have gay friends, and I'd have no problem with it if they got gay marriage tomorrow.
But my big problem is how Obama has so screwed the economy up that I'm stuck in a job where I'm working for far less than I'm worth (or was even making five years ago) because there is nothing better out there.
The Obama Way, Working Harder for Less Money- and you'd better learn to like it.
