Just like they celebrated when Walsh and West got retired by the voters.

She will be back with a short term gig on FoxNews followed by a tour on the Conservative circle jerk circuit

Without an office, she will lose relevancy and Sarah Palin already has the "Doesn't Obama suck?" gig

I don't buy that.

GOing back to my "Rich vs. Rubes" meme, Bachmann is a voice of the Rubes. Fox News is the voice of the Rich.

I really do think that she's stepping aside because her numbers look bleak and the FEC is breathing down her neck.

And that's the problem with the GOP. Not that Most Republicans are like Bachmann or West or Walsh, but that if they don't play along with the fringe, they can get primaried by someone like them.

Living in her State I can tell you, she would not have won again and that's why she isn't running. She is behind her current opponent in the polls and she barely beat him last time in a very Conservative district. She barely won and it should of been easy for her. She promised not to run that time when she ran for President and went against that promise. It's what politicians do. She knew she wouldn't win. She'll give other excuses but that's a fact. She embarrassed this State when she ran for President. She's better off moving on to FOX or somewhere else.

Tea Party favorite Michele Bachmann, who last year ran for the Republican presidential nomination, announced on Wednesday that she will stand down from her seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

In a video posted on her website and on YouTube, the stressed that her decision to stand down from her Minnesota seat was not due to any concern she would be defeated at the next election in 2014 or the inquiries into activities of her former presidential campaign staff.
