Battle of Kyiv

Russia merely relocated the forces to the Donbas, where the majority of ukrainian forces are currently stuck, they are also among the most trained and heavily equiped of all troops in the country.
Defeating them will open up the rest of Ukraine for the taking, assuming Zelensky still refuses to surrender. Ukrainian army has little fuel, ammo and most of their military hardware and airforce have already been destroyed.
Lets see for how long they will last.

They aren’t in the Donbas. They are in Belorussia. Half the Russian troops are dead or injured.

Putin is a master strategist and military tactician.
West Point will someday have classes on why Putin's prosecution of the Ukraine war was successful and a model for future generals.

The political spin being placed on this talking point is an indication that peace could be close.

The object of both sides in a peace agreement is to spin the facts to make it appear that their side won the war. This partially satisfies the demand for Ukraine. There should be more to follow.

Stay tuned and be hopeful of a peace agreement!

With Russia out of the Donbas and Crimea.

And preferably with the War Criminal Putin bunkering himself.

I'm hoping for peace at whatever it takes.

Russia out of the Donbass as a military force but there as a part of a possible UN peacekeeping mission, with the region being demilitarized.

I don't see any possibility of the same for the Crimea. Maybe at best the previous status quo before the US interfered, but that's a very optimistic stretch.

However, I would see both of those situations being resolved in those ways being satisfactory to both sides.

The alternative would be both the US and Russia going for all the marbles, and getting them too.

Dream on, we won the second Crimean war and its ours, as will the Donbas. Keep it up and we will take all of Ukraine. The US will not help them just as they didn't help those Georgians and Kurdish idiots back then.

After Putin bunkers himself because Russia had its entire armed forces towed away by a bunch of farmers, this is what Russia is going to look like, москали.

Nobody really gives a shit about the Donbas anyways. It’s a failed oblast, with corrupt thieves and people with little talent. All the smart people left. Just like Russia.

We are also taking the black sea regions away from the Ukraine, where the huge bulk of economic output comes from. Without that, Ukraine will be landlocked and barren. Can't wait for some cheap sunflower oil in Russia and more leverage over the west.

For now at least, Putin’s forces have shifted away from Kyiv, to eastern Ukraine. Ultimately, the Russian leader may achieve some of his objectives. Yet his failure to seize Kyiv will be long remembered — for how it defied prewar expectations and exposed surprising weaknesses in a military thought to be one of the strongest in the world.

“It’s stunning,” said military historian Frederick Kagan of the Institute for the Study of War, who says he knows of no parallel to a major military power like Russia invading a country at the time of its choosing and failing so utterly.

Keep dreaming…

Pootin is looking like the loser he is!

Keep wasting your weapons, it wont change the outcome at all.
The US still hasnt learnt anything from their past failures in Syria and Afghanistan.
Oh poor little Yuri thinking his leader is going to win when he is actually losing…

The thing is that the U.S. and other countries are giving outdated weapons and stuff and let be clear Roosia along with Pootin gave away how weak they truly are…

Pootin thought there wouldn’t be any resistance and bam he found out the Ukraine and it people will fight…

So let be clear Yuri you are losing bigly!
