You can compare a Volkswagon to a Corvette because they both have four rubber tires, combustible engines, windshields, brakes, etc., but those comparisons do not make them equate to one another except for in the broadest terms.

The trick is that comparisons can be made and you can claim the comparisons are true. Volkswagen can improve it's horsepower and hence, you can claim it is trying to be like a Corvette. Your claim that Volkswagen is trying to improve horsepower may be true, but your conclusion that it is trying to be like a Corvette would be ridiculous. Hence, your cherry picking similarities from 15 varieties of socialism and comparing those similarities to communism may be factually correct when viewing one comparison to a similarity, the conclusion is just as ridiculous.

The trick is that comparisons can be made and you can claim the comparisons are true. Volkswagen can improve it's horsepower and hence, you can claim it is trying to be like a Corvette.
