Bernie Sanders introduces 'Stop BEZOS' bill

Socialism has never been a promoter of any sort of freedom and individuality… fact

In reality the opposite is true socialism is the enemy of any sort of freedom and individuality
Nobody is promoting socialism here troll. Go pollute another thread with your stupidity.
Lol
Says a progressive socialist
Says the moron who obviously knows nothing. You just parrot the same stupidity over and over. Get a life.
Did the collective think up that for you?
I've seen plenty of your posts. You show up and use the same name calling over and over, never coming close to an intelligent thought. You are a waste on this forum. Human poop.
Lol
The individual has no use for the collective

For instance?
I'm against deals like Foxconn. I don't want the government influencing corporations.
Government should have no business whatsoever in any private business... Because they are more corrupt than any business ever could dream of being
Then you are agreeing with me and must be a socialist based on your claims.
Only a fool trusts of federal government
Well you agreed with me so you must be a socialist.
Socialism has been tried countless times throughout civilization, it has failed 100%... 100% of the time long-term.
What do they call trying something over and over again and expecting different results? I think a famous person once said “that’s insanity”

How many thousands of times have you parroted that one btw?
The truth never lies

Oh yeah, free market capitalist always promote the government setting wages and wages being paid according to need.

Foxconn? Isn't that the Chinese side of the democrats beloved Apple Computer, the most "woke" and leftist corporation in the world? Isn't Apple pumping MILLIONS into the Texas Senate race to defeat Ted Cruz with radical Communist Beto O'Rourke?

Calling them "republican" is quite the bold lie.

You're an independent about as much as you are a market capitalist.

Biggest increase in the nation debt in history occurred under your god-emperor Barrack Obama
You really are not very bright.

Foxconn is all republican, that's why trump was there.

I'm not even a democrat so what do I care about Obama?

As a free market capitalist I expect wages to increase dramatically when unemployment is as low as it is. Wages are stagnant. Something is broken. I wish to find out what it is. And as someone who is for small government I would rather workers get enough pay from their employers, rather than be collecting welfare which goes through the government.
You aren't for small government and you aren't a free market capitalist. All you ever do is post shit about how the government needs to become bigger so it can control corporations.
No, I promote many things that would make government smaller. You just have no clue it seems.
For instance?
Well look at the OP. Right now our richest are paying so little that their workers are on welfare. I want better wages for workers so they are not dependent on government. I don't know this is the best idea, but it's good to discuss.
Exactly how would this work without a vast expansion of government? Corporations are always going to pay the market rate for wages. Only government compulsion will prevent them from doing so. What you want is a vast expansion in the government regulatory burden and a vast expansion of taxes paid by corporations.

I'm also against any tax deals, if Foxconn received them. Unfortunately, the way our system works, they can't be prevented.

Bernie Sanders is no friend of the American citizen, he wants to enslave any sort of freedom and individuality and eliminate it ultimately....

This is a fascinating idea. Our biggest economic problem is stagnant wages. Could this be an answer?

Update: September 6, 2018: U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders on Wednesday introduced a bill that would tax corporations with more than 500 employees for the full amount employees receive in government assistance. The bill's title, "Stop Bad Employers by Zeroing Out Subsidies Act," or "Stop BEZOS," is an open jab at Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. Sanders had previously criticized Amazon after a study found that some fulfillment center employees relied on a federal food assistance program. Sanders' criticism drew a heated response from Amazon, which prompted another detailed critique from Sanders' office, one that included testimonials from Amazon employeesabout working conditions.

Bernie Sanders introduces 'Stop BEZOS' bill
Businesses practices by American companies are none of the federal government’s business Bernie can fuck off and die

Where they hell were you when Trump was threatening American businesses left and right? What the hell do you think tariffs are is not interference with businesses practices by American companies

When it comes to business the federal government no matter who is in charge, obviously the deep state is in charge is always wrong....

Tariffs are relatively harmless long-term… It’s really not an big issue.

The only thing worse than federalism is globalism

At no point have I said I support what Bernie is suggesting in the OP. I'm discussing it and will decide later if it's a good idea. I agree with him and Tucker on what the problem is. If corporations pay better instead of paying the taxes, that would shrink welfare and government dependence. What we need is private jobs that pay well enough they don't require welfare.

They have been tried over and over with the same results. But I guess when it comes to trump you partisan parrots don't follow your own posts.

Then we agree. And isn't this a stance for smaller government? As these deals grow so does government. Pretty soon private business will do nothing without government involvement.

Bet you have parroted that thousands of times. Read the OP and if you have anything to add please post. Stop littering the forum with your off topic parroting.

There should be no career jobs in civilian federal government, Because currently there is no accountability whatsoever.

Lol
I figured it all along, you obviously support a career politician like Bernie Sanders. Fuck career politicians they should be eliminated, Single term limits on federally elected employees should be the rule...

Career politicians much like professors have failed in the real world, why would anyone trust them to do anything other than fail the people of this country?

Corporations pay the market rate, period. Any discussion about corporations paying more than the market rate is a non-starter. It will never happen without government compulsion.

End of discussion.

Of course, we can't have people working more hours. We can't have people trying to get better paying jobs. That would be ridiculous.

If you want to cut welfare, just cut welfare. There is no need to overpay people to do that.

There's no way to stop these deals. The federal government cannot stop state governments from making deals with private corporations.

On one hand you say you are for smaller government, but in the same breath, say government should force companies to pay more money to workers. You can't have it both ways.
