Bernie Sanders introduces 'Stop BEZOS' bill

No, I promote many things that would make government smaller. You just have no clue it seems.
For instance?
Well look at the OP. Right now our richest are paying so little that their workers are on welfare. I want better wages for workers so they are not dependent on government. I don't know this is the best idea, but it's good to discuss.
Exactly how would this work without a vast expansion of government? Corporations are always going to pay the market rate for wages. Only government compulsion will prevent them from doing so. What you want is a vast expansion in the government regulatory burden and a vast expansion of taxes paid by corporations.
At no point have I said I support what Bernie is suggesting in the OP. I'm discussing it and will decide later if it's a good idea. I agree with him and Tucker on what the problem is. If corporations pay better instead of paying the taxes, that would shrink welfare and government dependence. What we need is private jobs that pay well enough they don't require welfare.

Of course, we can't have people working more hours. We can't have people trying to get better paying jobs. That would be ridiculous.

If you want to cut welfare, just cut welfare. There is no need to overpay people to do that.
Republicans control the government. Why do you think they don't do that?

I'm against deals like Foxconn. I don't want the government influencing corporations.
I'm also against any tax deals, if Foxconn received them. Unfortunately, the way our system works, they can't be prevented.
Then we agree. And isn't this a stance for smaller government? As these deals grow so does government. Pretty soon private business will do nothing without government involvement.

On one hand you say you are for smaller government, but in the same breath, say government should force companies to pay more money to workers. You can't have it both ways.
I have not said they should force anything. I have said to shrink government we need more private jobs that pay well.

Progressives fail understand that there are beginners/starter jobs that should never pay like careers.
Paying someone a so-called “living wage” to flip burgers oor stock shelves is an insult to humanity… Not to even mention it’s fucking stupid.

There's no way to stop these deals. The federal government cannot stop state governments from making deals with private corporations.
Then government will continue to grow.

Are you a fucking moron, slap yourself please. Career politicians no matter what side they pick are career politicians. The deep state has fucked you over and you’re a gullible Silly little fucker that trusts them...
The collective has made you fucking stupid

Only a fool trusts of federal government
Well you agreed with me so you must be a socialist.
Socialism has been tried countless times throughout civilization, it has failed 100%... 100% of the time long-term.
What do they call trying something over and over again and expecting different results? I think a famous person once said “that’s insanity”
So that's what trump is doing with tariffs?
Tariffs are relatively harmless long-term… It’s really not an big issue.

The only thing worse than federalism is globalism
They have been tried over and over with the same results. But I guess when it comes to trump you partisan parrots don't follow your own posts.
Like I said the only thing worse than federalism is globalism, globalism is for mindless fuckers

A Commie trying to take control o someone else's money.
Bernie is an excellent example of why there should be a mandatory retirement age for politicians.

No we don't because one has nothing to do with the other. There is nothing in our US Constitution that guarantees welfare for people that don't make enough money. That's s government decision to pay them. We don't have to do that. We just simply stop paying them and that's that.

Maybe they will. They did it once before called Welfare Reform. And Trump said he is going to get around to that in the future, so let's see.

I have no idea where people get the notion that companies were created specifically to provide good paying jobs. That was never the goal of any company. The goal of a company is to provide services or products at a profit. That's it. They have no social obligation to society.

Yep, No one should be starting a business is just to hire people. The sole reason to start a business is profit... then more profit, fuck this village/entitlement/one world/globalist government bullshit...

Government grows because of people like you who want it to grow, not because Amazon doesn't pay more.

Horseshit. You have proposed plans that can't possibly work. If you want to cut government, then cut it. Nothing is required from the private sector.

Ok, lets cut all corporate welfare as I have proposed.

Yes, it's called priorities. I would think they will probably look at it after the midterms to see how it goes first.
