So the rich get bail, like Weinstein and Madoff. Only the poor sit in debtors prison.

If you did what Weinstein did you shouldnt get bail.

Bail generally doesnt cost that much for your average crime.
If your bail is set so high you cant pay it you should probably be kept locked up until your trial date because you've obviously done something pretty damn bad!!!

Bail helps to ensure that the accused return for trial. It is generally effective.

Bail bondsman are mainly crooked and they don't give money to the poor.

Nope.....and they shouldn't have to give them money.
But then....the poor only gives a bail bondsman a means of a living.
The bail bondsman provides the poor with a service.
