If you want to keep people impoverished, undermine their access to food, housing, healthcare, education, job training, employment, and a safe environment where they're not being criminalized for their vices or brutalized by authorities.

We need to be hard on crime, but criminalizing people for smoking weed or using hard drugs, only makes the situation worse for them and their community. Addicts should be forced into rehab or committed to a mental health facility until they're cured, and drug dealers should be charged with a capital crime and executed. That will clean up the streets, create safe neighborhoods, allowing people to excel, with the resources they have access to from their government.

Without decriminalizing vice or the use of narcotics and going after dealers and smugglers, executing them when found guilty of terrorism (poisoning the community with deadly substances), the welfare program will never succeed. There has to be an emphasis on safe neighborhoods and providing people with all of the resources they need to be successful.

There is no valid reason why some children should have greater opportunity than others. If they deserve to be wealthy let them earn it.

I live in the U.S., so I conform to that reality. I have made sure that my sons are advantaged in every way - but I also demanded that they earn it academically, and that they chose professions that contribute to society.

People who do not have dedicated parents deserve everything my sons received as long as they also earn it.

And those who can not achieve academically deserve to make a living wage and have economic opportunity as long as they are willing to be productive - according to their abilities.

You remind me of an old man in my town. A friend of mine even. My boss owns a plaza, and part of that plaza is a gas station, one day when I was talking to my friend let’s call him Jeff cause I don’t really know many Jeff’s, and my boss and I and Jeff were hanging outside his convenience store having some beers during our conversation the old man told my boss “yeah cause your gas is free you don’t have to pay for it” the old man doesn’t realize my boss already bought allllll of the gas that he then sells so even if he drives his truck and fills up the tank without putting $ into the register like the rest of us do doesn’t mean he didn’t pay for it.
