Biden Hires Anita Dunn, Former Obama Adviser Who Praised Mao

Since our current President has praised Saddam Hussein, Vladimir Putin, Rodrigo Duterte and others, I don't see what the issue is.

I thought strongarm leaders were the rage right now?

The Mao quote is one I picked up from the late Republican strategist Lee Atwater from something I read in the late 1980s, so I hope I don't get my progressive friends mad at me. The use of the phrase 'favorite political philosophers' was intended as irony, but clearly the effort fell flat -- at least with a certain Fox commentator whose sense of irony may be missing.

The quote referred to him saying.."you fight your war and I'll fight mine".

It had nothing to do with his political philosophy
"The 2 people i turn to most"

at least post the whole damn sentence..

Mao Tse-tung and Mother Teresa, not often couple with each other, but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point which is you’re going to make choices, you’re going to challenge, you’re going to say why not.
I posted that one page 1, dumbfuck.
Its amazing how you go out of your way to carry water for statists and genocidal tyrant sympathizers.

She did not praise the man, she did not praise his actions, she used him to support a point.

you people try way too hard

If a republican quoted hitler and said "success is the sole earthly judge of right and qrong" you would start screaming and cutting yourself.
You fool no one

Odd I can only find left wing sites (media matters 2009, first) saying he said that. No reference to when either.

And secondly, I will do a copy and paste just as you did, but you claim it for your own-
Bill Dupray-
The issue isn’t whether Lee Atwater ever quoted Mao. A simpleton knows you don’t adopt somebody’s philosophy as your own simply by quoting them. But when you quote them and then explicitly say the person is one of your biggest influences, then you make it your own. So Dunn’s lame attempt to source the quote back to Atwater and have that somehow serve as an explanation for what she said is patently ridiculous.

And lest we forget, there was allowed an ornament of Mao on the White House Christmas tree.

Murdering 76,702,000 of your own citizens would be praiseworthy to a Leftist.

God kills yet people worship him. I just don't get it..
You never will until you pull your head out.
I guess that would be in the same neighborhood of you not understanding how someone could like Mao..
Hitler created great freeways, what a guy!
Republicans in Congress praised him, and Mussolini....................until Pearl Harbor.
