Bloomberg: Taxing The Poor Is A Good Thing

It's in the Constitution, but you can only see it wearing these glasses:

I'm curious what your idea of the conservative work ethic is.

Taxing people into submission is the left's way of doing things. If people are not behaving to your standards, penalize them until they do.

These are the same people that want to run our entire healthcare system. So if that's what people are for, remember comments like this guy makes, because you won't be able to get healthcare if you don't live a lifestyle they approve of.

I would like to see one of the lefties show me where any of our founders thought it was the federal governments responsibility to conduct our choices and the way we live our personal lives.

First, your founders set up a society in which ONLY white male aristocrats had any representation/voice/vote. The aristocracy decided everything.

Secondly, the table below shows the utter bipartisanship in channeling our choices and economic opportunity. There is your vast wealth redistribution scam.

Why shouldn't these moochers pay taxes?

They do. The poor pay property taxes, sales taxes, gas taxes, 15% withholding tax. The poor pay a much larger percentage of their income on taxes of all descriptions than Mike Bloomberg does.

Meanwhile:

Amazon earned $5.6B in 2017, but paid no federal taxes
Amazon earned $5.6B in 2017, but paid no federal taxes

We subsidize our "job creator" class with socialism, and we like it.

Amazon paid no federal taxes on $11.2 billion in profits last year, according to group's analysis

Taking from the rich and giving to the poor is not redistribution?

I'm quite aware of what our founders setup, and because of their brilliance, created the foundation for the most powerful and wealthiest country in the world. And with the creation of wealth came the ability of government to support the lazy and non-productive of our society, even enough funding to help those who physically or mentally cannot provide for themselves. Pretty good for a nation only a couple hundred years old. Is it any wonder why others from around the globe want to come here?

As for your chart:

"People on the left claim getting ahead is unfair because it leaves others behind. That's the idea of getting ahead. After all, if we all moved ahead the same distance at the same time, then nobody gets ahead."
Brian Kilmeade

The graph depicts a vast redistribution of wealth, as laid out in The Powell Memorandum. America's power and wealth come from genocide and slavery; your founders built nothing.

Rule by aristocracy.

Due diligence, try it on for size sometime. Do you not know how your system works?

I know quite well how it works. People work hard, save money, and open up their own business. If one of the few successful ones, they eventually create jobs for people who didn't take such a chance, and use their profits in which to pay them.

If very lucky, their business grows larger and larger to the point of becoming a corporation, creating even more jobs and becoming even more of a benefit to society and government.

anything in compliance with our general State laws regarding employment at the will of either party in our at-will employment States.

only illegals don't care about law. only their implied socialism on a national basis.
Don's an illegal now?
He has his own problems.

It is only that, simple poverty can be solved in our Republic by executive order. It really is that simple.

That's only part of it. A large part of it is the belief that people who can work should. And people should take care of their families. Government safety nets are a good thing only for people who can't work. It's not a career choice.

How would that be worded? "I hereby declare there is no poverty"?

So it is ok to be, "illegal to the law" for the subjective value of an Individual's morals?

An executive order from the chief magistrates of the several States and the Union can suffice. Faithful execution and equal protection of the law for unemployment compensation in our at-will employment States.

And here the democrats have always been the ones that supposedly were CHAMPIONS OF THE POOR. Now they want to make sure they NEVER get ahead by taxing them into the GUTTER and HOMELESS TENT CAMPS with the rest of the people shitting and pissing in the streets of their toilet cities.

Well, there's a winner demtards, keep that one going.

Not saying illegality is okay, but that's a judgement everyone makes. "Will I comply with the law today? Will I drive faster than the posted speed limit? Will I take this pen from the bank? Will I concealed-carry in this gun-free zone? Will I steal from the old lady down the street? Will I kill a rival gang member?"

For the most part, people choose to follow the law because the law's interests coincide with their own. Where those interests differ -- that's where you get people being criminal because it's in their self-interest.

We are a nation of laws -- sometimes selectively and sometimes indifferently applied. Is the system perfect? Oh, hell no. But it beats the hell out of anarchy, which is not at all civilized.

Junk bonds not junk laws!

All unemployment compensation revenue should go to a general fund; employers can be relieved of that burden on an individual basis.

Just say the taxpayers. It's easier and more honest.
