The documents were from the Obama-Biden administration, and the attorneys alert the National Archives Records Administration — whom they anticipated would notify the Department of Justice.

Dec. 20 – President Biden's personal counsel informs Lausch that additional documents with classification markings from Biden’s time as vice president had been identified in the garage of Biden’s private residence in Wilmington, Delaware. The FBI goes to the location and secures those documents.

Jan. 11 – Biden's attorneys search his two Delaware houses for other records, and find a page marked classified that was stored a room next to the garage in the Wilmington house. After finding one page of classified material, stop the search and notify the DOJ, according to Bauer. The problem with that scenario, Clipper is that there is a serious legal matter still to be decided and that's whether or not a President is or isn't the ultimate authority on what or what isn't classified. If a President IS that ultimate authority then it's hard to see how they're going to be convicted of illegally possessing classified documents. Just saying...
