Breaking! DOJ mistakenly (Yea Right!) exposes list of Trump files from Mar-a-Lago being vetted for privilege including medical records

You whore for a criminal

LOL
Maybe he should have given back all the government documents when asked and not stored personal documents, legal correspondence, medical file, etc, in that basement office with government documents, classified, secret and top secret government documents, instead of holding back and having his lawyers lie to the government, about what was still there, claiming incorrectly that all had been returned. Sometime, deny, deny, deny, does not help you in the long run. Go figure.

Hey fuckwit, a private citizen isn't required to store any of his personal documents, legal correspondence, medical files etc in any particular way. He can keep them all laying out on the kitchen counter.

That doesn't change the fact the corrupt Biden DOJ had no authority to take, read, or leak any of them.

Trump hasn't broken any laws.

To be clear, the DOCUMENTS haven't been exposed, only the list of documents. And it looks to me like Trump and his team were absolutely right to ask that they be screened for privileged content before being examined by DoJ investigators...given their recent record of leaks to the Media.

A question pops into my mind about this stuff: I wonder whether the Prez is "allowed" to make copies of any sensitive documents that he wants, returning the originals to the archives. This whole thing seems to me like No Big Deal - just like Russia Collusion and quid pro quo (Ukraine).

Same old, same old...

These are documents the filter team pulled out, and the Doj working the case didn't get to see them. Looks like the Filter team worked as it was suppose to....just fine in keeping personal or attorney client, documents from the investigation team.

The subpoena/search warrant, said they could take the classified govt document and anything that surrounded the classified document, in the seizure..... To be sorted out later....which it was.

But they cannot be stored in the same room and cabinets as Government document and classified files or they may be swept up together, sorted out later and yes, list of the documents might get compiled, released, or leaked. His private crap would be his private crap if not stored in the same place as the government crap, he was trying to keep and protect personal access to. Just sayin....
You haven't heard of them raiding my office or yours, have you?

They can't? What statute would it violate?

I think every other president should have to give back every document they took with them when they left office....starting with the 30 million that Obama hid in a warehouse in Chicago.
And Hillary needs to return the 33,000 emails she took when she left the State Department.

Clueless as usual.

The PRA is the sole statutory system of dealing with former POTUS' and the records they take with them. They are still negotiating with Øbama over records and in fact, in August 2018, the Obama Foundation paid the National Archive to remove and safely store documents including classified documents Obama had stored in the improperly secured warehouse.

Where was the raid on the Øbama warehouse as he was storing those classified documents in it?

There is no criminal section in the PRA.

Totally agree.

It is not how government documents especially classified are stored. When you leave your government post, you do not get to take them with you. You can be prosecuted.
