Breaking News and Confirmed: Arizona Senate Passes Presidential Eligibility Bill 21-9

oh deflection ? No comment on the 1930 BC and what gekaap said? African is a race in the year 2007 not in 1961. Again we are talking about a document that was genorated after 2001. The only way you could actuaslly find out what the race identifier was is to look at the original document.

As pointed out before, the worksheets and documents (from then and now) don't have a preset list you must choose from. It's filled out by the parent and transcribed.

Hence "Hawaiian/Chinese/Korean/German/English/Portuguese". :lol::lol::lol:

and checked by a gvernment offical to make sure the information is correct.

Oh poppy-cock. Given the admissions process when a woman in in labor, the nurse gives the parents a bunch of forms to fill out, medical history, insurance, and a worksheet that will become the hospital certificate of birth. They may check and ID during admissions but that is more about insurance and making sure the hospital can be paid.

As a matter of fact, the "father" doesn't even need to be there. (You do know that right?) In which case the hospital may never see the "father".

Once the forms are filled out, the paperwork goes to a secretary in the hospital to typed up the certificate of birth from the hospital that got sent to the registrar. Another clerical person in the registrars office stamps the paperwork and filed it (now they input it into computers).

Information is filled out on a worksheet, copied to a form, sent to a government wonk who copies it again. If you think the "government" wonk is performing an investigation on paperwork received from the hospital, then you are mistaken.

Do you think they would allow a black person to say there child was white when he was black?

Absolutely, the government clerk who processes the paperwork 3-4 days later has never laid eyes on the parents or the child.

Interesting, the author of the bill describes the term "long form" as a Term of Art, and it's up to the issuing state.

"Long form is just a term of art . . . to describe the full birth certificate, whatever that is for that state," Seel said.

Maybe the Secretary of State was correct when he said the implementation may mean that COLB's are acceptable if that is what a state issues.

Under the current bill passed and waiting for Governor Brewer to take action, starting in 2032 Arizonan's will not be able to submit their own states birth certificate to their own state if they run for the office of the President.

"However, in Arizona, "long-form birth certificate" refers to a specific document: the paper version of the birth record of a person born before 1997. People born in 1997 and subsequent years do not have long-form certificates; their records are available as electronic certified copies, also known as "short form.""

As I said before, this law has some very poor wording and doesn't appear to be well thought out.

Wow that exactly what I quoted.

Arizona wrote a law that means in the future they won't even accept their own birth certificate.

She was the governor who had his records sealed. After obama took that trip to hawaii to see his grand mother before she died, the trip he took without his family so his children could see thir great grand mother before she died. Remember that?

This is an outright lie. Obama's records are not "sealed" anymore than any other person. State law prevents any Joe Blow from being able to look at them. That law has been in effect for many years, and is equally applicable to everyone.

According to the article from an Arizona newspaper, the bill just passed will not allow Arizonan's born after 1997 to submit their own states Arizona birth certificate to their own state to run for President because Arizona doesn't issue "long form" birth certificates.

Is that true or not?

Don't worry, I can understand why you would feel the need to get defensive, offensive, and insulting. After being shown how stupid the poor wording of the law makes the bill, one you appear to be so personally invested in, look like it was written by amateurs.

You know, all of this talk about what the definition of is is, is irrelevant. You've still yet to respond to the fact that the states do not have any powers to regulate federal elections, and that is what this bill tries to do. And the way it goes about it indirectly creates new qualifications for the office of POTUS, which the states again do not have the power to do. There is no constitutional demand that a person have a birth certificate, only that they be born in the US. The states don't have the power to "vet" Presidential candidates, as you put it, either. Congress delegates the power to qualify an elected President to the electoral college. The constitution is clear. Elect first, qualify second. The state of AZ is adopting for itself powers that it does not have under the constitution.

Don't let the fact that obama was born before 1997 stop you continue on liberal. Not concerned with anyone else unless they are planning to run for president.

Funny no one has ever challenged the supposed law that you speak of. Do you have the text?

There is no constitutional demand that a person have a birth certificate

OK fine do you have any witnesses to obama's birth to attest that he was born in Hawaii? Sworn affidavit's? If not the Long form BC is the only way to verify the short form.

Not the point.

The point is that the Arizona Republic, which I believe is one of the major newspapers in the State of Arizona is reporting that the Arizona Legislature is reporting that the Arizona Legislature wrote a law that says means that in 2032 the State of Arizona will not accept birth certificates issued by - well - the State of Arizona.
