Has anyone else noticed that the only plan presented by the Right on this issue is, "Drop them off at Death Valley". It is just like ACA. They have no suggestions how to resolve issues. They just love to bitch about the solutions that have been implemented.

The simple truth of the matter is that these children are innocent, and must be sheltered and fed until they can be sent back to where they came from. That is going to cost money. The alternative is to leave them to die in the desert. That is not an acceptable plan.

Keep them housed, fed, safe, then find out where each came from, then get them back where they came from.
Then the nations where they come from need to be publicly condemned, and at the same time we have to start taking our border security much more serious and once and for all improve conditions where children of all people can't just waltz into our country.
At the same time we need to start creating laws that severely punish anyone who knowingly hires an illegal.

Why didn't I think of that? Let's see. The Southern Border is 2,000 miles long. Most of it has no infrastructure, meaning electrical lines, roads, water, houses, or anything else that would be needed to man the army of people would have to be stationed there. I figure that we would need about 2 people per half mile, so that means 8000 border guards, with 4,000 vehicles, each of which would be burning gas all day and all night at $3.50 per gallon.(OPPS! I just realized that we would have to triple the guards, because they would have to operate on three shifts per day...and even that assumes that they would work 7 days per week. Better quadruple it). . Each of the border guards would have to be trained, and outfitted, so I am guessing around $15,000 each, to get started. Then, of course, we would have to build the border stations about every 10 miles. That comes to 200 border stations, all of which will need AC all day and most nights, and pay each guard, oh, about $30,000 a year, plus about $20,000 in benefits, insurance, pensions, etc. that would come to ? (sorry, my pocket calculator does not have enough digits to figure this)

Officials say the first group out of an estimated 140 total was flown from detention facilities in Texas to San Diego, then taken by bus to Murrieta, where some local residents camped out to protest beginning early in the morning.

When the buses arrived just after 2 p.m., a vocal group of protesters carrying signs and draped in American flags blocked the buses filled with families who were detained after entering the the country illegally in Texas.

These racist fuckers with their American flags have no clue what it is to be a real American.

Stunning: DHS solicited bids for vendor to handle 65,000 unaccompanied minors -- IN JANUARY!

The Obama administration’s claim to have been surprised by the wave of children flooding over out borders may turn out to be another political lie of the year. Sundance of Conservative Treehouse noticed a very peculiar advertisement:

On January 29th of this year, the federal government posted an advertisement seeking bids for a vendor contract to handle “Unaccompanied Alien Children“.

Not just any contract mind you, but a very specific contract – for a very specific number of unaccompanied minors: 65,000.

• Why would DHS and ICE be claiming “surprise” by the current influx of unaccompanied minors on the border in June, when they were taking bids for an exact contract to handle the exact situation in January?

• Secondly, how could they possibly anticipate 65,000 unaccompanied minors would be showing up at the border, when the most ever encountered in a previous year was 5,000 total ?

The bid specifics are even more suspicious:

[...] The Contractor shall provide unarmed escort staff, including management, supervision, manpower, training, certifications, licenses, drug testing, equipment, and supplies necessary to provide on-demand escort services for non-criminal/non-delinquent unaccompanied alien children ages infant to 17 years of age, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year. Transport will be required for either category of UAC or individual juveniles, to include both male and female juveniles. There will be approximately 65,000 UAC in total: 25% local ground transport, 25% via ICE charter and 50% via commercial air.

[...] In addition, the Contractor shall have personnel who are able to communicate with juveniles in their own designated language(s).

2 people per half mile is seriously overdoing, but even that number isn't an onerous burden. How much does all of the above add up to, $1 billion, $5 billion? Now subtract all the welfare, free schooling and medical care for these illegals are you are still well into the plus column.
