The Sec of Defense should be fired and then some severe discipline handed out to the DOD employees that showed the lack of respect these returning heroes and heroines deserve. $600,000 to the next of kin and airfare to Dover is chump change to the DOD.

A real President would get on AF-1 and personally pick up the families and take them to Dover. Or at the very least, send a few of the FLEET of Gulfstreams at Andrews AFB to get them. But that would take a real Commander in Chief instead of the confidence man who presently holds the office.
