Breaking: Trump Takes Lead In Iowa; His Supporters Think Japanese Internment Was Good (So Do I)

Perhaps what has to happen before election is another ATTACK....

  • Tentacles of terror: Chilling map shows the 31,000 jihadis from 86 countries
    The Daily Mail ^ | 16 December 2015 | JAY AKBAR
The number of foreign fighters who have joined ISIS and other extremist groups on the battlefield has doubled to more than 30,000 in the last 18 months, a new report has revealed. It found fanatics from all corners of the globe including western Europe, Asia and Russia and parts of north Africa are heading to Iraq and Syria in greater numbers than ever before. The well trained, battle hardened returnees are capable of orchestrating deadly lone wolf attacks such as the one that devastated Paris attacks, respected terror analysts told MailOnline.
But DAMN, don't have DHS LOOK at any suspects FACEBOOK PAGE, wouldn't want to VIOLATE their PRIVACY!...What a bunch of absolute idiots running the government!

The obomanation wants another 100,00 Syrians in this country by next year.... BUT don't check them, they are SUPPOSED REFUGEES, like the one in Paris!

Internment was right. It had to be done because we could not take any chances that the American Japs were helping the Empire of Japan in their efforts to defeat America. We just couldn't take any chances.

Trump Edges Cruz in Iowa; His Supporters Think Japanese Internment Was Good; Clinton Still Well Ahead of Sanders In State

Like most racist things done in the 20th and 19th century they were done by democrats. I wish someone from the Democratic Party would acknowledge that. Confess your sins!

And where was the Republican opposition to the internment camps?

This is pretty much disturbing. Repulsive.
How is it disturbing?

If an anti-abortionist killed 14 Americans in a terror attack, would you support internment camps for pro-lifers?

Tipsy is saying that his kind, 74 years ago were saying to put the Japanese behind barbed wire or Tipsy kind would kill them. If true, we can be thankful that kind of criminal nonsense is no longer tolerated.
Saying that you are thankful we no longer tolerate such nonsense is a very different thing than saying we were never the kind of people who would perpetrate such nonsense when obviously we were.
Immaterial statement. FDR should have told California, and Governor Earl Warren would have folded, that FDR would declare martial law in those areas in California that rioted against the Japanese American civilians. Any individuals who participated in such riots would be, with their families, interned.
FDR had more to deal with than an insurrection of the very people he needed to support the war effort. What a stupid thing to say.

There were more internment camps than just California.

You are really a dumbfuck. Don't be a really, really, dumbfuck. It was a war. Accommodation of the Japanese would have caused an eruption across the entire country. We were a different people in those days. We didn't believe in kumbaya.

NOT throwing innocent, loyal AMERICANS into fucking concentration camps is not "accommodation," it's following the Constitution (At a minimum).

The question was: did the Japanese-Americans ever vote Democratic again? Where's the fallacy?

One, no one has show that the Republicans opposed incarcerating the Japanese Americans any more than did the Republicans.

The Republican California Governor wanted them rounded up.

This was ethnocentrism and racism and fear far more than political party motivation.

Totally irrelevant.

We couldn't take a chance that the Jap Americans were loyal to America at the time the sneaky bastards attacked Pearl.

Totally spot on. And if a racialist white pro-lifer shot up an Afro-American abortion clinic, the internment camps would be the most lenient way to deal with racialist white pro-lifers.

ALL anti-abortion terrorists come out of the pro-life movement.

Totally irrelevant to the conversation about Japs. The hyphenated Japs had to be interned to protect our military and industrial assets.

A woman in my art guild was in an internment camp as a child. She painted a lot of her memories from those days.

Gangs of American teens would gather at the fences being threatening and intimidating. Guards had to come and chase them away.
