Looks like that pledge the GOP insisted Trump sign is backfiring on their darling candidates. Now we're starting to see the REAL Bush and the REAL Kasich. They can't be trusted to keep their word. Watch how Bush tries to justify breaking his word and how he tries to run out the clock on the question.

‘You Didn’t Answer the Question’: Berman Presses Jeb to Choose Between Trump, Hillary

Now watch this POS Kasich and his sleazy ad comparing Trump to Hitler. And the same thing, he tries to dodge the question, refuses to answer if he'll keep his word or not and runs out the clock.
So much for the integrity of these two assholes. This is why nobody wants either one of them.

Kasich Refuses to Commit to Backing Trump as Nominee: He Won’t Get That Far Anyway

And Trump plans to break his word and run as an independent. This is like the round of welshing that was so amusing here after the last presidential election.

Apparently all republicans are welshers.

No he doesn't. Stop lying. He said he would consider it if he wins the primaries and is denied the nomination anyway, and rightfully so, because that would mean the GOP had no intention of keeping THEIR word. That's obviously the reason the GOP establishment wanted him to sign the pledge in the first place.

Right, and he pledged to not do that so it would be welshing.

Why do these dopes make these stupid pledges? Someone truly punked them.

It's not welshing if they deny him the nomination after winning the primaries.

He broke his pledge first and of course it is.

No he didn't. You're lying again.

I am willing to bet the whole R establishment will rail against Trump, not just the two fools Jebbie and Johnny.

BS. He stated his intention to break his pledge before they did.

So, in your world if someone makes a promise to another, they must keep that promise even if the other party does not. Is that right?

No, they are free to do whatever they want.

I agree. Not sure about Christie but the rest of them, yes.

Kasich Refuses to Commit to Backing Trump as Nominee: He Won’t Get That Far Anyway
This is what happens when one party essentially splits into two.

Trump & Kasich have been in a no-win situation from Day One, trying to deal with a guy who (1) will say absolutely anything at any time, regardless of how absurd, (2) is very popular within the party for no clear reason, and (3) has inspired a third of the party to completely abandon their principles because they're frustrated.

I don't think this is a tough call: Bush & Kasich think that Trump is a disaster for their party but are good soldiers, so they'll have to support him. THAT'S POLITICS. This is why this whole notion of "pledges" is such a truly dumb idea.
.

Both should have deflected the question by saying they will support the Republican nominee and their intention on being in that spot. It is a common question asked every four years of those behind in delegate count. With the count knotted at zero Bush and Kasich seem frustrated at the attention Trump is getting. Since neither outright said they'd support Hillary it isn't any big deal. When the story says nothing a common media tactic is a headline ending with a question mark in attempt to make it appear newsworthy. OP simply copies the tactic.
