California Governor Gavin Newsom wins recall election in a landslide!

Now the Hell will really start to get hot in California.

Elder speaking.

Does he graciously concede or does he go full on Trumpster conspiracy theory crybaby sore loser?
Elder wasn’t actually ‘defeated.’

The only way Elder would have been ‘defeated’ is if Newsom had been recalled and Elder failed to have won a plurality of the vote.

This again illustrates how poorly Republicans handled the recall, allowing the likes of Elder to be perceived as the ‘representative’ of the recall effort and making it a Newsom verses Elder contest – which it wasn’t.

See you in 2022, asshole.
You and others on the right have only yourselves to blame.

You should have focused your rhetoric on how this is for California voters alone to decide, unique to California, with no national implications.

Instead, you made it about masks and mandates, installing a Trump-bot as governor, and sticking it to a hated Democratic governor perceived as the embodiment of all that’s ‘liberal.’

The American Taliban failed to defeat Newsom. The "deplorables" lost.
If you call tying up a huge portion of your party's mid term campaign money a loss then you must have hundreds of fake charities in mind to divert money into your mid term campaigns, because it's gonna take a lot of campaign finance fraud corruption to gain back that money spent.
And the recall paved the way for a movement shift in some districts, thus loss of more house seats then anticipated.

Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud.” That quote isn’t from Republican gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder. It’s the conclusion of the bipartisan 2005 report of the Commission on Federal Election Reform, chaired by former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker III.

There is increasing evidence of vote fraud in the California recall election.

  • Torrance, California Police found 300 recall ballots and multiple California drivers licenses in a felon’s car.
  • In the San Fernando Valley, election officials are telling Republican voters that they have already voted. At one precinct in Woodland Hills, election officials were saying that the problem was occurring all morning.
Election officials say they are fixing these problems. In the Torrance case, voters whose ballots were found in the car will be sent new ones. In the San Fernando valley, provisional ballots will be issued to those who say they hadn’t already voted.

It wasn't even close. over 114k vs eighty something thousand for the runner up. However the post I was responding to implied California lost jobs. Why didn't you go after that?
So, last month was August and a total of 235,000 were added. California added 114,000, the next largest was at least 89,000 plus, just those two states alone created 203,000 jobs and the rest of the US only gained 33,000 jobs? That doesn’t sound right. Since Texas is the second largest state is 10,000,000 people less than California, I expect California to gain a lot more jobs. It is logical to me, is it not logical to you?

Also California was tied with New York, and New Mexico for the second highest unemployment rate in the country at 7.6%. Only Nevada was higher at 7.7%.
