I'm down in Orange County, although not quite sure what that has to do with anything. Perhaps you'd like more photos of the Tri Valley.

Odd that the photos you've posted include a police car from a city in the state of Washington, football teams from Illinois and a sign from Minn. Your post is dishonest and misrepresents the Tri Valley in the Bay Area - typical of a 21st century conservative and like trump, incapable of being truthful.


The reader may want to look at the cost of housing in those cities I noted above in my link, in my town no home has sold for less than seven figures in at least five years. There are no tent cities in anyone of the cities noted above; Thinker101 should never be trusted by anyone, and everything he posts should be verified.

California's economy has surpassed that of the United Kingdom to become the world's fifth largest, according to new federal data made public Friday.

California's gross domestic product rose by $127 billion from 2016 to 2017, surpassing $2.7 trillion, the data said. Meanwhile, the U.K.'s economic output slightly shrank over that time when measured in U.S. dollars, due in part to exchange rate fluctuations.


The data demonstrate the sheer immensity of California's economy, home to nearly 40 million people, a thriving technology sector in Silicon Valley, the world's entertainment capital in Hollywood and the nation's salad bowl in the Central Valley agricultural heartland. It also reflects a substantial turnaround since the Great Recession.

All economic sectors except agriculture contributed to California's higher GDP, said Irena Asmundson, chief economist at the California Department of Finance. Financial services and real estate led the pack at $26 billion in growth, followed by the information sector, which includes many technology companies, at $20 billion. Manufacturing was up $10 billion.

But that isn't exactly a brilliant argument.

GDP is the function of many things, not economic policy alone.

Alabama has less than 5 million people. CA has over 37 million people.

If everyone in Alabama was producing $80/hr worth of value, that would be $400 Million.
If everyone in CA was producing $10/hr worth of value, that would be $370 Million.

Simply having more people, will inherently result in more GDP. Comparing Alabama to California, is ridiculous, because even if Alabama had the absolute most perfect economic policies in the history of the world, they would still never be comparable to CA, simply because they have so few people relative to CA.

Another example would be comparing Russia and South Korea. Both have almost identical total GDP.

But Russia has 144 Million people, and SKorea has 51 Million people. So while they have similar GDP, South Korea has a drastically better economy than Russia.

Since you claim to know everything, how about offering some reasons for homelessness, and why some cities have more than others. Then come up with iron clad solutions, and by that I don't mean jails.
