Can America Have a Canadian VP?

No; he ran with it AFTER the campaigns were done and Obama was in the WH. Disgruntled Hillary Supporters were still moping about of course but who really cares about that. I was saying that it became an Issue DURING the Election Campaign and it was via the Hillary machine..."

As with the Steele dossier I am now of the opinion that Hillary gave it the go-ahead. Nothing ILLEGAL about the act I don't think but unethical?? You can't put Hillary and Ethical in the same breath as you well know!!!

Greg

(BTW: love your stuff on Israel; keep up the good work there).
[Obama would never have made her his Secretary of State if she were unethical. That is simply one of the endless accusations used against her during the election campaigns.
Endless accusations against her were happening since Bill Clinton's Presidency with nothing to show for it.

But, I am having to look this up again to come up with the answer I have seen. Here is one of them, you may check other fact checkers on the subject:]

The answer lies in Democratic, not Republican politics, and in the bitter, exhausting spring of 2008. At the time, the Democratic presidential primary was slipping away from Hillary Clinton and some of her most passionate supporters grasped for something, anything that would deal a final reversal to Barack Obama. (See: Bachmann: Birther issue settled)

The theory’s proponents are a mix of hucksters and earnest conspiracy theorists, including prominently a lawyer who previously devoted himself to ‘proving’ that the Sept. 11 attacks were an inside job. Its believers are primarily people predisposed to dislike Obama. That willingness to believe the worst about officials of the opposite party is a common feature of presidential rumor-mongering: In 2006, an Ohio University/Scripps Howard poll found that slightly more than half of Democrats said they suspected the Bush Administration of complicity in the Sept. 11 attacks.

While there is no grain of truth to either fantasy, there’s something else when it comes to Obama: A visceral reaction against him, a deep sense that the first black president, with liberal views and a Muslim name, must be—in some concrete, provable way—foreign. (See: Mitt: Obama born here. Period.)

According to the article, the theory that Obama was born in Kenya “first emerged in the spring of 2008, as Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama’s citizenship.”

The second article, which ran several days after the Politico piece, was published by the Telegraph, a British paper, which stated: “An anonymous email circulated by supporters of Mrs Clinton, Mr Obama’s main rival for the party’s nomination, thrust a new allegation into the national spotlight — that he had not been born in Hawaii.”

Both of those stories comport with what we here at FactCheck.org wrote two-and-a-half years earlier, on Nov. 8, 2008: “This claim was first advanced by diehard Hillary Clinton supporters as her campaign for the party’s nomination faded, and has enjoyed a revival among John McCain’s partisans as he fell substantially behind Obama in public opinion polls.”

Claims about Obama’s birthplace appeared in chain emails bouncing around the Web, and one of the first lawsuits over Obama’s birth certificate was filed by Philip Berg, a former deputy Pennsylvania attorney general and a self-described “moderate to liberal” who supported Clinton.

But none of those stories suggests any link between the Clinton campaign, let alone Clinton herself, and the advocacy of theories questioning Obama’s birth in Hawaii.

Thanks about Israel :)

As I said; Clinton SUPPORTERS inside her CAMPAIGN!!! Her campaign; the buck stops with HER!!! Did she fire them?? No; like the Steele dossier it was campaign "shenanigans". Illegal? Probably not but had the shoe been on the other foot you can bet Trump would have been indicted!!!

It was also on the dust cover of that book; you know the one???

So it needed to be sorted and frankly I think it was BUT IT'S A STUPID RULE ANYWAY!!!!

The Campaign is one thing. Supporters are something else. They are voters.

Not one fact check has said that it was anyone working in her campaign.

It was supporters, not people who worked in her campaign or her. So, NO, there would have been no way to indict anyone in her campaign, much less Clinton, for something voters supporters decided, stupidly, to do.

I've always found the requirement that a person be a natural born citizen to be hypocritical to the ideals of america. We want foreigners to assimilate to our culture, But our very political system is designed to Always consider them outsiders.

Now just one cotton picking minute!!!! (Not racist here; it's a VERY mechanised industry: no slaves EVA!!!) lol

"(Another thing to note: Clinton volunteers forwarded emails promoting the myth that Obama is a Muslim. As we have previously reported, both resigned from the campaign after they were found to have spread the rumor. The Clinton campaign condemned their actions and said it was unauthorized.)"

So they were working for the campaign AT THE TIME!!!!

You want to follow THAT lead??

Greg

Were they two different groups then?
The supporter voters and the two volunteers, not paid, who were found out and fired?

Still not Hilary Clinton, and still not the Campaign itself. Correct?

It is sad that such idiots managed to cause so much headache for the Democrats by thinking they were being intelligent. It is always some stupid minority.

They were let go. Trump would have promoted them.

VP must meet the same requirements as the president. No foreigners. Why would anyone want to invite the other barbarians at the gates into our government anyway?

Especially from a country with a monster of a leader like Trudeau is.

Speaker is 3rd in line for presidency. I don't want someone with foreign ties with potential presidential power.

But then again our current leaders are Americans and they seem hell bent on letting foriegn agencies like china and the world economic forum have their way with us.
