Can anyone name 1 country that has a better voting system than us?

Plus, Mexico is one of 22 countries where voting is mandatory.

If mandatory voting could ever be pulled off in this country.......Even Texas would be blue.

Indeed, people too lazy to get off of their asses, educate themselves, and vote would certainly be Democrats. There is a reason the poor and wealthy vote overwhelmingly to the left while the middle class vote for Republicans. The poor wants the middle class's money and the wealthy want to keep out competition. Redistribute and regulate. Thank God the majority of the poor are poor for the same reason they don't vote.

Now THAT was a "brilliant" conclusion....Now, wipe, flush and wash your hands thoroughly.
Actually, it was a pretty damn funny joke.

Funny as it may have been it was also true.
Right, the funny part was the linkage to the reason they don't do it now.

There is not sufficient democracy in the USA because there are in effect only two political parties there. One of the parties is right wing capitalist and the other is very right wing capitalist. Their president is not even elected by a popular vote. There is no representation of minority interest groups nor the left. People have lost faith in their politicians and the country has been downgraded by the Economist Intelligence Unit to a "flawed democracy".

The Opening Post asks of there one country that could teach the Americans how to govern better and I found 19 from Norway to Uruguay:

How far does one need to be to the left to call Democrats "right wing capitalists." This guy is left of Stalin.

How lacking in political savvy or blind to political spectrum must one be to be able to tell Democrats from Republicans?

It isn't hard. Their religion is socialism which worships big government and social policy. It is based on atheism and deification of man. It proceeds in almost all its manifestations from the assumption that the basic principles guiding the life of an individual and of mankind in general do not go beyond the satisfaction of material needs or primitive instincts. They have no distinction between good and evil, no morality or any other kind of value, save pleasure. Their doctrine is abolition of private property, abolition of family, abolition of religion and communality or equality. The religious nature of socialism explains its extraordinary ability to incite and inflame its adherents and inspire social movements. They practice moral relativity, indiscriminate indiscriminateness, multiculturalism, cultural marxism and normalization of deviance. Their hostility towards traditional religions is that of an animosity towards a rival religion. They can be identified by an external locus of control. They worship science but are the first to reject it.

I love how leftists preach diversity and inclusion but point to the most racially and culturally homogeneous countries to demonstrate how we should be. Democracy Index - Wikipedia . I agree Eloy. They have a good thing going for them but I don't share your views on ethnic cleansing.

Apparently Trump has decided for his minions that rather than face the many other problems facing us, considerable money and time needs to be allocated toward eradicating the 5 million illegal votes against him that have considerably hurt his fragile ego.

So, I ask.....Which country....if any.....should teach us how to make our voting system better?

(Perhaps Putin has some ideas on this issue?)

Who says we need someone else to teach us? Why can't we go to the doctor and get a prescription for all libs for Growacet, the testicular fortitude pill?

It can't be that good. Trump and right wingers believe there were millions of illegal votes.

Such 'index' attempts are always rife with opinion on what constitutes democracy. They are utter bull.

Couple that with the fact we are not a democracy and your point is rather vapid.
