Can you fight ?

I was getting ok until my lower back went to hell

But if I see a knife or a hand gun it’s terrifying to me .

A shotgun and I would pass out

A shotgun would be the worst

What is your skills

PS .. I never used a gun or knife in my life but a .22

The question is really "can you defend yourself". There was a time when most able bodied males served a year or two or three or four years in the Military and learned at least the fundamentals of thinking and self defense but those days are gone. The only advice to the gen whatevers who live in their parent's basement is to be the bitch and hope for the best.

True. A guy threatened to kick my -ss in a bar once. I asked the bartender to call the police as I was being threatened with assault. The guy backed off. I didn't feel any less manly from the incident.

I'm deadly with a pistol and with a shotgun, I won the steel challenge in SOT school against Army Rangers. Smoked their asses.

I'm sure there's plenty of indoor and outdoor shooting ranges you can get instruction on shooting and safety.

Best way to learn how to shoot is go to a range and waste a bunch of ammo. Ask questions when you see someone who knows what they're doing.

It was so powerful I could not control the gun

Shoot with what is comfortable for you.
I like shooting 9mm, but I can shoot anything.
If you like .22 then learn to shoot with a .22 or a .32.
.22 can do a lot of damage if you hit the right spots.
It doesn't have much stopping power compared to a .45 or a .44 MAG, but at least you can hit the target. That's what really counts.

Fighting (hands-on/improvised weapons) in my former line of work was unavoidable and when it happened it happened real fuckin' quick.

LOL....I had a convict hit me upside the head with an ironing board once, completely out of the blue.....Once I got my wits back about me I damn near beat him to death with a metal trash can lid.....It was the only thing handy at the time.

I learned both a disturbing and comforting fact about myself.....I'll hurt you anyway I can till you are no longer a threat. It's "teeth, hair, and eyeballs" when it's on, don't expect any quarter.

There's no such thing as a fair fight when your life's on the line.
