Our nation is the little horn. We are the beast from the earth. A nation raised up not by its native people, but the remnants of rome. a nation made up of other ethicities. The feet part clay part iron. Hindus. Buddist, Islam and others are in the House of reps. A divided nation. Ruled by the most powerful empire to ever roam the planet. more powerful than all the previous Empires combined. we are not a hick up in history. we are the last dark empire. This is not news. Quoting bible verses simply proves that human nature hasn't changed in thousands of years.

Excellent point, my good man! It's interesting... many of the skeptics conclude that over the course of our history, mankind has grown smarter, more wise and better behaved. The "smarter" part is wrong. We are simply more educated which has nothing to do with intelligence quotient. I often get into debates with these skeptics, as I contend that apart from simply knowing more about our surroundings, we've hardly changed at all. I am relieved to see you share my opinion.

All that aside, your keen observation begs the question: Why is it that with all the knowledge and "civility" we have acquired, we really haven't changed at all? The good book tells us that it's because we all have this "sinful" nature that drives us to do the things that we do, and, that nature in us will never go away until the day the men and women of the world are removed and replaced.

Though you may disagree, I believe your statement validates Scripture.

Where is the anguish? Who sees the wickedness of man? The condescension, greed, exploitation, slandering, demonizing, spiritual corruption, idolatry, political corruption, sex trade, selfishness, hypocrisy, blasphemy, depravity. Who sees history repeating itself? The Israelites done it over and over. Struggle, prosper, flourish, then greedy, lustful collapse. A pattern of all great empires. The rest are fast falling in line, rapidly lowering the moral line. The filth/violence of hollywood/video games' effects on kids' psychology. Who sees humanity sinking into this confused dark stew of democratic freedoms? Demanding "democracy" for all other nations/peoples or else. "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his mind, and with peace shall destroy many". Someone said, "freedom is the ability to do as you ought, not as you want!" Who sees the direct and indirect

2indirect evils of world markets (Babylon-Rev18-24) on all humanity, both the rich and poor. (1) The rich industrialized countries being consumed with materalism and frivolous vanities, constantly occupying our mind/time, having no time or TRUE desire for God. No very real daily, hourly, by the minute relationship with God creating a constant, curious desire, a craving to read his word, delight in his precepts and conversate with Him. Scripture calls it "the captivity of the soul". Bowling on Thursday night, out to eat on Tuesday night, weddings, movies on Friday night, voting, beach every Saturday, gambling, bingo Monday night, porn, mardi gras, drugs, Super Bowl, fishing, Facebook, $100 shades, concerts, $500 suits, 4th of July, $100 perfumes, vacations, $40,000 cars, bigger house, sports, Halloween, Labor Day, my birthday, New Year's Day, concerts, your birthday, St Patrick's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Father's Day, brothers birthday, Martin Luther King day, Presidents Day, best friend's birthday ... and you could go on. Its a lost, CONFUSED, occupied, distracted, politicized, depraved, selfish, greedy, delusional, freedom demanding, both passive and violent society consumed with itself at all cost. The Bible says, in the end, it will be as the days of Noah, buying and selling, building, planting, going and coming, marrying and giving in marriage. "God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the world, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his mind was only evil continually"

If not in action, all men, including preachers, sin with their mind, in our thoughts. We envy. We lust. We hate. Become jealous. We exploit...etc.
(2) The horror of the third world. Militias and ragtag groups fighting and killing each other. Drug wars. Ethnic cleansings. The wealthy exploiting the vulnerable, enslaved to creating the worlds goods while simultaneously being suppressed by their own corrupt dictators/leadership. It's tragic and very very few truly understand it.
There is one thing that every preacher I know believes, that I humbly, reverently disagree with. And that is, these generalizations of the devil. "The enemy is gonna come up against you." Or "the devil puts thoughts in mans' mind" "the devil is going to tell you to quit" "the devil will tempt you" etc. This is foolishness. All lies and he loves it. It creates confusion! Like the devil is some floating spirit going around making men think evil speak evil do evil. Not only can the devil not make you think anything, he has no idea what you're thinking. He cannot violate your mind! God's not playing games. Men are!

He delights in this confusion and fear! James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his OWN lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Matthew.. For from within, OUT OF THE MIND of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders. Scriptures make it clear, WE will be held accountable for every thought, word and deed. God is a just God. You're not going to be held accountable for something the devil made you think or do or say. Just doesn't make sense whatsoever. The devil simply dwells/delights in mens' evils. Just as "God dwells in our praises". You can't look God in the face and honestly say that you couldnt control yourself. This is a lie. "I couldn't stop myself from getting drunk" "I couldn't stop myself from looking at porn" "I couldn't stop myself from cursing" "I couldn't stop myself from preying upon the Faith of the simple minded with lies to get their vote so I can continue to wallow in corruption" "I didnt know using God for greedy political gain was blasphemous." "the pedophilia, homosexuality, violence, robbery, drugs, etc." God made us in His image. We have the ability to not only do and speak good/evil things but create them! We have godlike powers limited to the physical realm, yet we are stuck in this ancient "the devil made him do it" lie.

There are a few scriptures they use to push this theology, while explaining away dozens of scriptures telling them otherwise (and reality) . For example, "the devil roams the earth as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour" this is simply the temptations, foolishness, lusts or evils of man devouring whoever is confused or mentally weak enough to allow it. Simple. The devil is a lie. The devil is a murder, a theft, a robbery, rape, etc. If men we'll stop doing all these things, the devil wouldnt exist on this earth, he's already defeated at calvary. Let us be accountable and quit playing games! We are all a bunch of sinners. Accept it. Repent daily and make it a point daily to avoid our evils and our fellow mans' evils. Work on it daily. Practice it and we will become better and better at it. Eventually it will become a habit! Pray, keep our mind on God. Conversate with him throughout the day. Make him our best friend. And he WILL show us favor in life. Subtly ( sometimes drastically) the spirit will move on our behalf, guaranteed! He is the comforter. He penetrates the physical realm. The devil can't do this. The devil doesn't have this ability. And I refuse to give him the satisfaction of a lie!

Americans are ignorant. They don't know or they choose to ignore what the politicians are doing, and the direct and indirect effects/results of what they're doing, globally. How many different evils do they have to commit before we understand? In how many different ways? How much negligence? How much irresponsibility? How many lies? How much treason? How much betrayal of humanity? How many have to die in third world countries from war and making our products cheap? How much slavery? How much torment,humiliation, misery, despair?

politicians are just a symptom of the people. They represent us. Their corrupt because we are.
