Watched Captain Philips last night, personally I would rate it 4/5 stars.
Suspenseful, amazing job (again) by Hanks, and a fantastic ending that provides a respectable argument that Hanks just might be the best actor ever.
Downside: 2:16 was about 15 minutes too long. Just my opinion, the loooong chase scenes was a struggle to stay interested.
Besides Hanks, the acting by others was so-so. (with exception to the Somalian four...definitely made it realistic)
Why do I say overated? It was made out to be the movie of the year, it wasn't. It was good, and I recommend it highly. But it wasn't great.
The last 10 minutes however was incredible and a challenge for a tough guy to keep his eyes dry.
