A new documentary by CBS News reveals that Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg, who has become the face of the student body’s push for gun control, was not at the school at the time of the shooting.

The bombshell comes from David Hogg himself, who made the admission to a CBS News interviewer as part of the documentary “39 Days.”

maybe it's all fine and proper. but this new quote doesn't "read" like a high school student and seems like he had help with it. much like their marches, ability to be away from school for so much now and so on. if someone were speaking FOR gun rights, would they be allowed the same time off school?

Aye, I've watched as much of the footage from the march as I could find and there were a lot of neverTrump signs mixed in with the "Fuck the NRA" signs being carried around by 5 year olds. The interviews with those people make you see the major flaws in our voting system, that's for damned sure... I think three of them had any clue what they were talking about (actually they were rather impressive with their comments, more "classical liberal" than radical left so to speak) but there were teachers who were unaware what the 2nd amendment says, unaware that "machine guns" and "fully automatic weapons" are already banned etc. I guess my only idk "pleasant" take away from interviews with those teachers was that a few of them eventually admitted they knew nothing about the subject they were protesting and the regulations they were advocating for - they just "hate guns" and "want them all gone."

The kids on the other hand were a absolute disgrace to the nation; more "fuck you's" and middle fingers than sentences, they had zero interest in discussing their positions or what they wanted done, only in "raising hell" over it - which unfortunately for the gun-control advocates lends to this being just a phase/fad similar to ANTIFA, and with likely the same results; little to none.

We shall see. If this anti-2nd platform is what the left will offer come November I suspect their "national movement" will do more to motivate the right than their own constituent. There was one thing perfectly clear at the rally, those folks have zero understanding nor respect for the second, and, frankly, a shit ton of them were foreign born.

my minor was in journalism but this was long ago when you could trust the media.

i know what i saw in his video. i don't know where the new quote came from. they say it was to clear it up but being a writer, his new statement seems to be well worded to address things like twilight, time of day, and is 6pm twilight this time of the year? then why the focus on his camera bag when that had NOTHING to do with his original quote.

in "clearing it up" they put in a lot more valid questions. the left only wants to laugh and ridicule but not talk about it. gonna stop taking ignore off and take this am as a reminder why have them on ignore to begin with.

On a related note, I have recently posted on here a warning - to both sides - that there is new video editing software out there that is nearly undetectable; it will stitch a face to a body and portray said face doing whatever the "filmmaker" wishes said "person" to do. I also know that there are folks like me who can imitate nearly any voice. BOTH sides, all people, must be wary of the harsh reality that anything and everything we see and hear these days may be fake >.<
