Your argument assumes that Trump was supportive of the actions of the protesters at the Capitol. If the intentions of the protesters was an insurrection, then that would mean that Trump somehow thought that unarmed protesters could overthrow the government.

Trump's own actions demonstrate his support. The only communication he had with that violent mob of domestic terrorists for hours was to tell them Mike Pence let them down -- which led to members of that violent mob of domestic terrorists to storm the Capitol while chanting, "hang Mike Pence!" With Pence, the one who was actually defending the Constitution, needing to be escorted out to an undisclosed location for his own safety.
