Boss
Take a Memo:
Sure it is, especially if you have your eye on a possible VP pick. There was no love between Trump and any of the other candidates. Christie went with the best odds. Can't blame him. He would like to be President too, and he's young enough to wait it out 8 years.
Christie stood there on the debate stage and said, the ONLY person qualified to be president is a former governor who has dealt with the aspects of governing... he made that point over and over again... for the majority of his campaign, that was his core message. He pointed to what he did as governor... the things that only a governor has the responsibility to do... the things only a governor can do. Now he is endorsing a man who, not only has never been a governor, but has never held ANY political office!
So do I take away from this that Chris Christie was totally full of shit and didn't even believe his own rhetoric? And at 5~6% of the GOP vote... what relevance does he have anyway? He's a nobody! His opinion meant nothing before and it means even less now that we see he was totally full of shit. He has about as much chance of being the VP pick as I do.
