Chuckie Manson , trivia question

Maybe Trump could answer?

Manson was trying to precipitate a race war when he ordered his followers to kill seven people, including Sharon Tate, a pregnant actress married to famed director Roman Polanski.

Manson Family Leader Charles Manson Dead At 83

The answer to the OP is "drugs" and "ego" (killed Tate over a mistaken connection to someone he sought revenge over rejection of his music.)
Trump is trying to do a few important
things about the drug problems your party purposely ignores or fights against opposition to drugs and their networks.
Killing over ego of being rejected is Hillary's and the progressive cartel's expertise.

Manson had an abusive childhood. His mother was 16 and an alcoholic when Charlie was born. After her marriage broke up she placed Charlie in a boy’s home wanting nothing more to do with him.

I would think that lack of a caring family or decent home life was the root cause of his turning to petty crime and drugs.

What started Charles Manson on his road to insanity?
His upbringing. His mother was a prostitute, unmarried. He didn't know who his father was, probably one of her Johns. As bad childhoods go, his was pretty bad and he spent most of his youth in juvenile detention and then prison. That doesn't excuse anything. All of us are given trials and what we do with our lives is a result of individual choices. He was a very bad person and made all the wrong choices. He was mentally ill, obviously.

Some would say it was The Beatles' White Album.

But, in 1990 someone gave Charlie the CD release. After listening to it again, Charlie said, "These new CDs have such clarity! I guess I was wrong trying to interpret Helter Skelter on vinyl."

Add in the hallucogins sp of the day. Cripes we were stoned out of our minds half the time.

Manson was a delinquent at a very early age. Father unknown, mother homeless hooker, raised in part by God-fearing grandparents, arrested for burglary at 12, buggered in juvy by older kids and born a psychopath to boot.

It was almost inevitable.

Not that up to date, what crime does this weirdo commit?
Lot's of petty crimes though oddly enough he is only believed to have killed two people himself. His infamy is in his guiding a group of hippies to commit the Tate and Biancha murders - about 7 grisly murders in two wealthy homes, plus one ranch worker.

Mirror to Richard Pryor raised in a brothel, but he used humor instead of violence, because even though he succombed to drugs too, he was humble.

He was born and/or raised that way. If I remember correctly, even before the murders he was a lifelong walking crime wave - you name the crime, Manson probably did it at some point or another. Maybe he was a black man magically trapped inside a white man's body.

He was a state baby. Perfect example of a "village" raising a child.
That is not the correct interpretation of the concept.

Oh yes it is.

It's the ultimate example.
The point is that the state was completely useless. It can and never will replace responsible parenting. There would be far less crime and violence if it could. All it can do now is feed these people until they become adult thugs and so old enough to prey on others.
