The child sex abuse plague in the churches is not a result of letting gays in. The perpetrators are not gay. They are not able to have age appropriate relationships or have been deprived the opportunity to do so. They are either fixated or regressed pedophiles. The real problem is the churches mandate for celibacy which attracts men with sexual issues that they are trying to hide from. Or, men may go into the priesthood with the best of intentions but become overwhelmed by the depravation of sexual expression and use children as an outlet of convenience.
