This is just creepy. This is an actual conversation with an artificial person. None of it's responses are pre-programmed. This is an actual conversation. BTW, this robot was recently awarded citizenship by Saudi Arabia.

I don't think we'll ever have a self aware AI. No matter how sophisticated, AI is simply a program. It can only do what it's told to do. Also, scientists don't even know what makes humans self aware. So how do they think they could ever recreate it?

Scientists theorize that crystalline structures in every neuron in our brain are responsible for self awareness. These crystals operate on quantum principles. So a quantum interface may be required if true self aware AI's are ever to be a reality.
