People who do drugs are spending money on drugs. He's thinking they should buy food and pay their bills with their money. Taxpayers should not be forced to buy food for people who spend their money on drugs.

Radel voted for drug testing welfare recipients to accomplish that, to stop people from spending their own money on drugs then having tax payers pay for their food. Now he may still be a hypocrite, I don't know. But not for this.

Either way it's still a double standard. Force service members to do drug tests, but not the lawmakers or those living on government assistance. Either stop drug tests for service members or hold everyone at the top and those receiving welfare accountable for drug use.
