Coke Congressman Votes FOR Drug Testing for SNAP Recipients

You know, you just have to love Florida. It's one of them most screwed up Red States there is:

Trey Radel, Busted On Cocaine Charge, Voted For Drug Testing Food Stamp Recipients

WASHINGTON -- In September, Rep. Trey Radel voted for Republican legislation that would allow states to make food stamp recipients pee in cups to prove they're not on drugs. In October, police busted the Florida Republican on a charge of cocaine possession.

This is what I mean about the sheer hypocrisy of the far right. They are evil incarnate.

The irony, huh? :cuckoo:

Totally. And the rebuttals in this thread? Just as :cuckoo:

If you can call them rebuttals. Mostly seems to be a bunch of third graders closing their eyes, stomping their feet, and screaming "I KNOW YOU ARE BUT WHAT AM I?!"

I'm for random drug tests for elected representatives, would have prevented our current president from being elected.

Leftists always called republicans hypocrites when they are caught screwing up because republicans profess to have morality and standards. Democrats openly admit they have no morality or standards so when they are caught with prostitutes or doing drugs it's just them being them.

This, of course, is why Democrats rallied around Eliot Spitzer, who currently still sits at the governor's mansion in Albany...

This list of is vertually endless.

Carl Stanley McGee, 38, prominent gay activist, assistant secretary for policy and planning and top aid to democrat governor Deval Patrick of Massachuttsettes, accused of sexually assaulting a 15 year old boy in a steam room at a Florida resort.

Bernard Vincent Ward, former chief legislative aide to Senator Barbara Boxer, self proclaimed "Lion of the Left" on bay area radio, admitted transgressions (with underage boys) too numerous to mention

Charles Rust-Tierney, 51, is a former president of the Virginia chapter of the ACLU from 2002 to 2005. On February 23, 2007, Rust-Tierney was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography on June 1, 2007.

Andrew Douglas Reed, 53, a North Carolina Democrat activist plead guilty to a page-long list of counts of 2nd-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Court records in the Asheville, N.C., case said he admitted that he would "record, develop and duplicate material containing a visual representation of a minor engaging in sexual activity."

Mel Reynolds, House of Representatives (D-Il) convicted on 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography resulting from a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old campaign volunteer.

These are sexual assault charges, moron. Where's the 9-month abortion baloney? Can't you stay on topic....even your own?

You are being too kind.

Now we've got a loony who's gone from abortions at 9 months to child porn charges of "Democrats". Anything but talking about Radel, the subject of my thread.

Such behavior is commonly knowing as 'kitchen sinking' an argument. ;)

Oh fuck off. Drama queen. Where is it legal to do that? China?

Obviously I'm dealing with someone with the intellect of a child. I just want to clarify: you do not believe that there are Democrats who support late term abortion of viable children up to the eighth and ninth month?

Are you this unaware of the extremists in your party? I'll provide the names.

Obviously you're also waiting for the black helicopters to land in your front yard and take you away to a FEMA work camp.....

I'm sure there are "Democrats" who believe in all kinds of voodoo, just like you do. And you do that voodoo so well....

But your ability to prove any of what you say is bullshit.

From the DNC's 2012 platform:

Strongly and unequivocally support Roe v. Wade

The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay. We oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right. Abortion is an intensely personal decision between a woman, her family, her doctor, and her clergy; there is no place for politicians or government to get in the way.

Do you know what partial birth abortion is? Here are the Democrats that voted against banning the sickening and vile, dare I say evil procedure?

Akaka (D-HI)
Baucus (D-MT)
Bingaman (D-NM)
Boxer (D-CA)
Bryan (D-NV)
Cleland (D-GA)
Collins (R-ME)
Dodd (D-CT)
Durbin (D-IL)
Edwards (D-NC)
Feingold (D-WI)
Feinstein (D-CA)
Graham (D-FL)
Harkin (D-IA)
Inouye (D-HI)
Jeffords (R-VT)
Kennedy (D-MA)
Kerrey (D-NE)
Kerry (D-MA)
Kohl (D-WI)
Lautenberg (D-NJ)
Levin (D-MI)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Mikulski (D-MD)
Murray (D-WA)
Reed (D-RI)
Robb (D-VA)
Rockefeller (D-WV)
Sarbanes (D-MD)
Schumer (D-NY)
Snowe (R-ME)
Torricelli (D-NJ)
Wellstone (D-MN)
Wyden (D-OR)

After the ban doctors were forced to inject the fetus with life ending drugs before extracting the child from the womb during a late term abortion.

Either way it's still a double standard. Force service members to do drug tests, but not the lawmakers or those living on government assistance. Either stop drug tests for service members or hold everyone at the top and those receiving welfare accountable for drug use.

I am in favor of testing lawmakers and the rest, but seriously, you don't get why testing military for drugs would actually be important whether we test the rest or not?

There is no point to this thread. A bunch of liberals circle jerking themselves, reassuring each other of how evil and what hypocrites Republicans are.

Again, leftists constantly do this when a conservative screws up because conservatives profess to have morality and standards.

When Barney Frank gets caught running a homosexual brothel out of his house or the president of the United States gets caught lying about having an affair in the Oval Office--well they never professed to have any morality. They aren't hypocrites, just being a liberal.

Wonder how Radel feels about the War on Drugs. <my comment

Rep. Trey Radel arrested on cocaine charge - CBS News

Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla., is "profoundly sorry" after being arrested Oct. 29 and charged Tuesday in Washington, D.C., for misdemeanor cocaine possession.

"I struggle with the disease of alcoholism, and this led to an extremely irresponsible choice," Radel, who's serving his first term in the U.S. House, said in a statement Tuesday. "Believe me, I am disappointed in myself, and I stand ready to face the consequences of my actions.
<more>

This criminal is also a big supporter of nationalizing Florida's law mandating drug testing for welfare applicants.

The perfect Republican.

Pretty close to entrapment. An undercover police officer sells cocaine and then arrests the person he sells it to. At least that's how it looks like it went down.

Why can't a "welfare" recipient grow their own pot?

Do we allow them to drink and smoke cigarettes?

Seriously? That's your argument to non-liberals? You're not the sort of person who should play with matches...
