Cold Antarctic Bottom Water is warming up
It's everyone's catastrophe you blithering fool.
Just hypothetically, what do you think would be the consequences if the WAIS collapsed catastrophically and over, say, one week, global sea level rose 20 feet? How many lives? How much cost? It's actually not.
We will survive the weather... if we can only avoid "the cure".

No scientists have suggested Godzilla is a possibility. The WAIS collapse is not just a possibility, it is an unavoidable certainty. The only question is the pace.If you're going to make up impossible disasters ... at least try and make them interesting ... floods have been done to death ...
On the other hand, the cost of wrecking the global economy (to the enrichment of well placed congress people) is something we can actually expect and quantify.
/—-/ What if sea levels dropped by 20 feet? How much Spanish gold and silver would we find?Just hypothetically, what do you think would be the consequences if the WAIS collapsed catastrophically and over, say, one week, global sea level rose 20 feet? How many lives? How much cost?
/——/ Dag gum auto correct.
Hypothetically................WTF you gonna do about it?Just hypothetically, what do you think would be the consequences if the WAIS collapsed catastrophically and over, say, one week, global sea level rose 20 feet? How many lives? How much cost?
Where?Another piece of evidence that manmade global warming is slowing the ocean's overturning currents. These currents are responsible for providing nutrients to the world's equatorial waters and buffering temperature extremes. Their collapse would be catastrophic for life on this planet.
Yep, volcanic but most won't know. They repeat the story leaving out undersea volcanosVolcanic activity....yawn
/——/ Quick, raise taxes and send AlBore more money so he can refuel his jet.Just hypothetically, what do you think would be the consequences if the WAIS collapsed catastrophically and over, say, one week, global sea level rose 20 feet? How many lives? How much cost?
Some. Not much from 20 feet. And that would put most of the exposed wrecks in the surf zone where they'd be rapidly broken up. Now, what do you think would happen if it went up 20 feet IN ONE WEEK?/—-/ What if sea levels dropped by 20 feet? How much Spanish gold and silver would we find?
Eliminate GHG emissions. So what do you think the consquences would be of sea levels rising 20 feet IN ONE WEEK?Hypothetically................WTF you gonna do about it?
/----/ I could sell my condo as oceanfront property for starters.Some. Not much from 20 feet. And that would put most of the exposed wrecks in the surf zone where they'd be rapidly broken up. Now, what do you think would happen if it went up 20 feet IN ONE WEEK?
Could you? Is someone going to build a nice beach out front? The coastlines of the world would all be massive disaster areas. The bloated dead would be floating outside your door./----/ I could sell my condo as oceanfront property for starters.
It isn’t logical or possibleJust hypothetically, what do you think would be the consequences if the WAIS collapsed catastrophically and over, say, one week, global sea level rose 20 feet? How many lives? How much cost?
Isn’t logical! I know you don’t get logicEliminate GHG emissions. So what do you think the consquences would be of sea levels rising 20 feet IN ONE WEEK?
