Cold Antarctic Bottom Water is warming up

It's actually not.

We will survive the weather... if we can only avoid "the cure".
Just hypothetically, what do you think would be the consequences if the WAIS collapsed catastrophically and over, say, one week, global sea level rose 20 feet? How many lives? How much cost?

If you're going to make up impossible disasters ... at least try and make them interesting ... floods have been done to death ...

On the other hand, the cost of wrecking the global economy (to the enrichment of well placed congress people) is something we can actually expect and quantify.

No scientists have suggested Godzilla is a possibility. The WAIS collapse is not just a possibility, it is an unavoidable certainty. The only question is the pace.

/—-/ What if sea levels dropped by 20 feet? How much Spanish gold and silver would we find?

Some. Not much from 20 feet. And that would put most of the exposed wrecks in the surf zone where they'd be rapidly broken up. Now, what do you think would happen if it went up 20 feet IN ONE WEEK?

It isn’t logical or possible
