Confederate Memorial at Arlington will be removed despite GOP opposition

Hey guys -- Let's get this back on topic...

:th_Back_2_Topic_2:

Confederates were traitors. No celebratory statues.
Where is it then or even now that States will not secede?
On topic of course, I repeat this as a fact.
1861 Democrats hated Republicans.
it is 2023 and still Democrats hate Republicans.

no change at all is the thrust of this remark.

The confederacy demands respect.
It’s not about condoning slavery. That’s a Marxist ploy.
It’s about respecting those who defended their states from a very similar oppression that spawned the revolutionary war.
WrongAgain is needed here

You're wrong and insult the revolutionary rebels. SC, first state to secede -- the states right to own slaves.

Discouraging oil exploration
Possibly 20 million more illegal migrants here in his four years
Devastating innovation and planning by auto manufacturers by phasing out fossil fuels
Policy/practice that has exacerbated inflation reducing individual and family purchase power by thousands of dollars

I could go on and on. So erasing our nation's history may seem small in face of all that, but it is one of the steps Marxists use to establish totalitarian government.
No Marxists around.

Perhaps 6mm illegal aliens in the three years of Biden: too many, I agree.

Not any "Devastating innovation and planning by auto manufacturers" that is hurting the larger economy or oil industry.

Trump/JinPing inflation is coming under control.

That is a meaningless mush of words.

"Their soldiers" WERE American soldiers. :cuckoo:
It what way do you mean that sentence? If you mean they were American soldiers until their States seceded then I agree with this statement.
No matter what is said about the confederacy history, it was part of our American history.
Like fighting the Nazi's is part of our history. It doesn't mean Rommel deserves a statue at Arlington, does it?
The left seems to want to erase it....they can't
No. It seems as if we want to remove monuments and statues to people we find to be deplorable, it's you're little bitch argument that statues are the sole vessels for knowledge and history.

They were Americans who fought as America traitors. The so-called Civil War is American history, but so is the Manson Family.

Not sure who this 'The Left' is always supposed to be. But people who want to get rid of statues celebrating traitors as heroes are on the right side. Those who do not make distinctions between statues that honor heroes and statues that memorialize the dead, have no ideology. Those people are playing a MAGA-type game.

That's Confederate history you dumb Bingo. Their soldiers killed American soldiers. It's about time we put the Confederacy in its proper place.
We republicans plan to do just that.

Democrats in 1861 hated Republicans.
Democrats in 2023 hate Republicans

Even time has not cured Democrats of acting like democrats.

Discouraging oil exploration
How stupid are you, anyway? How sealed in the rightwing media bubble, devoid of factual information, are you???

All from August-October:

US oil production hits all-time high, conflicting with efforts to cut heat-trapping pollution

Under Biden, US oil production is poised to break Trump-era records

A ‘war on American energy’? So why is oil production near record highs?

U.S. oil production hits all-time high, conflicting with efforts to curb climate change

The U.S. is pumping oil faster than ever. Republicans don’t care.

So, again: are you stupid, or ignorant, or just a damned liar? It must be one of the three - there are no other possibilities for you saying that.

States resigning the America you fantasize over does not mean they no longer are representatives of states calling themselves American.

Surely you do not deny Chile or Brazil the title of Americans?
Today's lesson posters is this.
In 1861 Democrats hate republicans.
In 2023 Democrats hate republicans.
Nothing changed for Democrats.

You’re another one. Trolls like The Dainty adore vermin like you. 🥸

But although nothing matters when it comes to your efforts to engage in propaganda nd deflection, try this:

Well, if you can't trust the investigative reporting of...checks notes...bizpacreview.com, then who can you trust?

You continue the fundamental false statements.
Statues are not other than emblems. They are not humans. And we know a lot about humans even Democrats. Give you an example.
1861 Democrats hated Republicans. no poster has so far claimed different.
2023 Democrats hate Republicans. and Democrats here document this daily.

Are you still trusting Snopes though you learned today they are an operation of the Democrats? Democrats loved them so much they flat out purchased them.

It does you idiot. I didn't name them the Confederacy, they named themselves that.
Surely you do not deny Chile or Brazil the title of Americans?
In the context of continents sure. Those are countries that exist on the South American continent. That's doesn't mean Chilean soldiers are soldiers for the United States of America, does it you Bingo?
